Overall okay if it’s not for a big project
The cotton batting isn’t bad. It does have a bit of smell to it but it isn’t true to its size. It’s a lot smaller than the dimensions said. But if it’s to make a small baby quilt it is a decent size.

Perfect for Masks
I struggled to find cotton batting of this weight. It is thin and ideal for lining masks. I make 3-D masks to donate and cotton batting is one of the layers. It does a superb job of maintaining the shape of the mask so it stands away from the nose and mouth as it should. I made a mask for myself using this cotton batting (plus 3 layers of fabric) and I was able to breathe just fine.
