Well worth the money and excellent quality.
I currently live in apartments and the water is harsh and the water pressure is horrible. I previously had a so called high water pressure shower head with a filter. However, the filter was made of plastic and painted chrome and broke while screwing on and the shower head did nothing to increase flow.I ordered this because it was made of all metal and promised high pressure. I definitely delivers. My shower is high powered and doesn't blow through hot water. Its pretty perfect and you can tell how great the quality is. Honestly I'm shocked this didn't cost more. The shower head even came with the tape to install it, extra washers and a couple replacement silicone pieces for the head.I would recommend this to anyone. Its worth the money and will last for a long time.

A well thought out high quality product worth the cost
After years of service my handheld sprayer mount cracked. I had been relatively satisfied with the head itself, but the hose was stiff and the mount was poorly designed so I began my hunt for a new shower sprayer.Hammerhead Showers came up again and again as one to consider and after reading some reviews I decided the higher cost may be worth it long term and made my purchase. It was the right choice to make. The quality was immediately apparent when I opened and inspected the parts. The head itself is simple but appears well thought out and constructed with quality and longevity in mind. The chrome is flawless and weld joints are clean. The mount is solid with again, nice chrome and clean construction. The pivot joint, after tightening it up, holds its position easily with little play. The fit between the assembled sprayer and mount gives a solid assembly with tight tolerances that prevents sloppy wobble or an unconfident mounting yet is easily removed to use the sprayer by hand. The hose is by far the nicest sprayer hose I’ve ever used. With the silicone interior tubing it is the most supple and flexible hose I’ve encountered. The packaging is well thought out and doesn’t use a ton of unnecessary plastic that is both wasteful and frustrating to deal with. Everything is protected well and comes in a compact box. Assembly is easy with clear instructions and spare parts including spray nozzles were you to lose some during use or cleaning, but that shouldn’t be too much of an issue without misuse or mistreatment. The shower experience is everything most people could need. It gives an easily adequate spray pattern with good pressure. It avoids the extraneous extra spray patterns which honestly usually seem like a marketing gimmick rather than a useful addition to a shower experience. I’ve yet to find one that is superior to a basic shower spray pattern like this provides.I am a professional house cleaner and have used a wide variety of shower heads in my work and this one blows them all away, including high dollar luxury brands. It is without question the nicest show head I’ve encountered with the most well thought out design that focuses on the user’s experience and longevity of components. My one tiny issue, and it isn’t even big enough to warrant lowering my rating, is the full pressure of this head with these spray nozzles tends to be a bit needly on my skin. It doesn’t hurt, but it’s a bit much sensory wise, so I picked up an inexpensive chrome shower head pressure regulator that mounts between the head and hose. It allowed me to dial in the pressure to where I like it for the main shower experience but can bump it up to full pressure to wash out my long hair. As an added bonus it reduces total water usage and helps prevent my wimpy hot water heater from going cool during my shower. If you are on the fence because of the price but can swing the purchase, do it. It will probably be the last shower head you’ll ever have to buy.

Believe the marketing , these shower heads are built to last !
I have gone through a multitude of big box store shower head brands most are expensive , feature laden plastic pieces of crap that last maybe a year .The Hammerhead is the real deal , all metal construction , with metal fittings set this unit apart. No leaks , great pressure, easy to install make buying this an easy choice.

fabulous, luxurious, superior quality
This Hammerhead (Chrome) 2.5gpm shower head arrived on schedule, unblemished.I installed it in 5 minutes, replacing a 20 year old Moen massaging shower head that had worn out.Pros: Luxurious, comfortable, alluring shower. I do not expect to be saving any water with this shower head, as both my wife and I are now taking longer showers! The stream, even at very low water flow rates, is comfortable and soothing. Higher flow rates are powerful, but not piercing.Cons: It is exactly what we were shopping for. But if multiple stream settings are desired, this is not the model you seek. Hammerhead sells a different model that massages, if that's your thing... Buy that one.The shower head is controlled in my home by a Delta Monitor (Series 15) variable flow and variable temperature valve. I measured flow rates with this shower head. On "low," 0.9 gallons per minute (gpm) flows. on "high" 2.25 gpm flows. (Our water pressure is 70psi.) For my purposes, the lower flow Hammerhead flow restricter is unnecessary; but If you cannot control the flow rate with your shower valve, you might prefer the 1.75 gpm model to conserve water.Build quality is luxurious, as pictured. It is much lighter than I anticipated, since it is "all metal" and the competition is "all plastic." Nevertheless, it feels balanced and comfortable to use. The head heats up to water temperature, while the handle remains cooler. The hose is 6 feet long, and seems to be built to last.A (adjustable) wrench is required for installation, as none of the fittings are made of plastic. :)If you seek a luxurious, efficient, simple and elegant shower, look no further!*I purchased a "returned" unit for $58. It is flawless.
