Nice toy pleased with it

To any adult (including myself) these polly pocket sets seems like a small bit of plastic tat that doesn’t do much at all, gave it to a 6 year old girl and they think they are brilliant toys. Despite the size there is a surprising amount of imaginitve play that can go with these.This play set in particular is a nice one, it isn’t the usual neat and compact set up I am used to with Polly Pockets, it is slightly bigger and is a beach themed scene. You get one Polly doll and a few accessories which are all different to other sets we have so it is good to add and combine for even more imaginative play and fun.It is colourful and the details and design are nice on this set. The current price at £11.99 is good but bear in mind once you get a few they soon add up. For toys that don’t seem to do much but they are cute and fun little sets to collect and kids seem to love them.

This is an excellent play set style toy. I always find toys like these are popular at home and they always bring an infinity of hours of fun and games. There are so many details and little things to do all over that just allows a child's imagination to run wild.This set is summer themed and will be fun to play with all year around. Despite being quite compact, there are many different sections and things going on all over. It comes with a doll which has a fair bit of movement on the joints so it can be posed is many different ways to suit all the adventures available on the play set. She can ride the waves, sit on the floatie or build a sandcastle. The possibilities are endless.

8 year old granddaughter loves it

My daughter has a large collection of the old polly pockets which she regularly plays with and loves dearly. This is a great introduction for her to the new style. The Pocketville sunshine beach set arrived in clear plastic packaging with cardboard backing.The set includes a little figurine ready to enjoy the beach setting. There is an ice cream beach hut, huge waves that can be surfed or rode on a flamingo inflatable, she can chill out on the deck chair and play volleyball with her seal friend.For a small set, there is a lot to do. Polly pocket sets have really expanded on the original design and although I appreciate the vintage toys, I can see why my daughter loves this.

The fact that I couldn't get a clear picture without a toddlers head in shot just proves how much of a success this product was and how much it is played with!My neice wouldn't put it down and was excellent for role play.Made alot better and more durable than the versions I remember in the 90s.Dolls can be a little tricky to place onto the holding slots, however I feel like this is actually good for dexterity in littler ones.At currently 11.99 it's a great pocket money toy or a gift/treat without breaking the bank.Definitely a winner in this household, even my son has requested a set.

It is nicer in person, I'll give it that, and there are all those multiple tiny fidgety things to play with in this set. But:- the parts are minuscule;- they don't necessarily stay in place all that well.I understand this tiny set is intended for- older children of around 5-6 when they are full time into role play- and it is great for travel only. To keep your child busy for an hour or less.Not great bit much better in person. Ours snapped (the palm, leaving a dangerously sharo trunk sticking out) when I stepped onto it.
