Does it really cover 325 square feet?

The room I run it in is much larger than 325 square feet and I have been extremely happy with the performance of this filter. We were inundated with smoke from huge forest fires nearby for about 4 or 5 weeks and this filter kept my inside air CLEAN! I love it.

Does the veva 8000 elite pro have a filter change indicator?

Our VEVA8000 Elite Pro Series air purifiers do not have filter changing indicators as we do not want to set up automatic timers to make our customers buy too many filters without need. You should change filters based on your usage situation. The HEPA filter may last from 9 months to a year, and each carbon pre-filter may last for 3 months with regular usage. However, the best way to know when to replace filters is to look inside the air purifiers and see when the HEPA filter turns into dark gray or black and carbon pre-filters turn into bright gray or white. Should you run these 24/7 for maximum purification?

Hi David,Thank you for your question. I would say that you should turn on the air purifier 24/7 for the constantly best air quality at your place. However, you only should choose Level 1 or 2 on regular usage and Level 3 on special cases to prolong the air purifier life.I hope my answer helps! Will this help filter out odor from cigarette smoke? Previous tenants smoked in the house.

That is the main reason I purchased this. I have two different air purifiers and this one works the best. I leave it on setting 2 all day. If when I return I smell the smoke as soon as I enter the building, I know I need it on high, and within 15 min there is a huge difference. I previously had it in bathroom, but found it best in doorway between kitchen/living rm, above the rooms downstairs neighbor sits and smokes in all day(annoying)! If your situation is same as mine, filters should be cleaned/changed in 3 months. The carbon filters can be vacuumed or washed to reuse a second time. Package comes with 2.
