Great blue note’s jazz album. Arrived fast and very well packaged to prevent damage during shipping. 180 gram vinyl that was pressed well and great quality sound. This was much cheaper than buying it directly from blue note and also free shipping. Highly recommend.

I previously owned the 2008 reissue and while I was expecting this Kevin Gray remaster to be an improvement I wasn’t expecting it to completely blow my old copy out of the water. The terrible paper inner sleeve which left little paper particles all over the record is the only negative I can report. Otherwise this reissue is perfect.

Great sounding reissue of this classic jazz album of Cannonball Adderley, Miles Davis, Hank Jones, Same Jones, and Art Blakey. It sounds much better than my 75th Anniversary Blue Note edition which was from digital files. This reissue is produced from the original analog tapes. All 5 tracks are beautiful. If you don't already have a Blue Note copy of this classic album, I recommend picking up this Classic Vinyl Reissue Series. A must have for any jazz fan or any fan of music, to be honest.

It’s an excellent classic album. All of the new Blue Note Classic lp’s sound better than any cd or mp3 I have ever owned of this album. Highly recommended. I wish the inner sleeves of the classic reissues were better quality than just plain white paper. They are are hard to remove the lp the first time due to static electricity. Also they tend to sell out quick so get them as soon as they release or preorder.

This line of Blue Note reissues has been very well done. I didn’t run into any non-fill or stitching issues like others say they have.

The entire record is excellent in sound and quality of its vinyl. I took a chance because I’ve never been a jazz fan but this saxophone is another level of excellence.

Details: A small tear in the corner and it doesn't include "Bangoon" (aka "Alison's Uncle"), although I know that song is not part of the original record.
