When I first got this belt and compared it to my original I thought it was the wrong part because it was so much shorter. No, my original was just that bad. Still kicking months later.

i bought these one before on my Bissell model 2491, at first, seem very short, was worried i got the wrong size, etc. but after attempting to install a couple of times, they fit, i pulled on them to make sure they get stretched and didn't break. second time buying them for this vacuum and works great and for awhile as well

Furious!Installed the new belt after checking multiple times it was for the correct vacuum. Noticed it felt very tight but put it down to it being new.First time using it, the vacuum made a horrific loud noise.Second time I tried, I smelled burning plastic, turned the vacuum off immediately and noticed it had snapped and melted into the vacuum and snapped part of the vacuum off!I am appalled at the low quality of these belts and they should be recalled!I'm now left with a broken, burned vacuum, and have to shell out hundreds for a new one.

Crazy how just replacing the belt more often and keepikg filters clean makes your vacuum a 1000 times better.
