The first book was the best, but the rest of the books were still hot. Everyone should read the trilogy.

I loved this book...sexy hot scorching. Believe me if you lying in bed all alone and feeling cold and need something to heat your blood.....give this book a whirl, u wont be dessapointed.

The blurb on the Hot Silk page reads, "Strong, character-driven romance. . .touching and emotional. . .extremely sensual and erotic." --Romantic Times". But that "praise" is for the author's books in general, not this particular novel, so beware.Hot Silk was just the opposite; the characters were almost charicatures, the plot was uneven, the heroine was a twit (I want to, I shouldn't have, I want to, I shouldn't have, I want to, I ....etc.). I don't think it was particulary sensual although it was very graphic. Less than a third of the way through (I kept hoping it would get better)I no longer cared if they were together or not because there was little that was "touching" or "emotional" about their relationship. How can a hero be a pirate and a highwayman and still be uninteresting? Read Hot Silk and you'll get the picture.I downloaded the sample, thought it was going somewhere and ordered the book. Unfortunately, I began to read it after the time alloted for returns on Kindle books. I also downloaded a kindle sample of Black Silk, but I'm gun-shy now re: this author. I find erotica with little romance a torturous, boring read but an erotic romance is a fave of mine and not an easy thing to pull off. I am glad for those of you who enjoyed the book, though. She has lots of fans so she must be doing something right.Di

Grace spends a lot of energy worrying about her reputation and being accepted by the ton. She's young and impulsive, and indecisive. She wants Devlin desperately one minute, then regrets her actions the next. I found myself feeling like she didn't deserve the love and devotion of such a good man. But it's not really Grace's fault that she was born into a society where a woman's reputation and social standing were the primary indicators of her worth.I didn't feel the tension and danger in Hot Silk as clearly as I did in the first two books of the series, but it was filled with sincere emotion and lots of hot sex. Excellent storyline,erotic,exciting,lusty,hot,heady.I really enjoyed this romantic historical story of love heartache and intrigue ,a great mix of everything and exciting right to the end.I enjoyed Sharon Page `s writing and will be seeking more of the same !
