These hold up better than the skinnier ones. They do a good job of making the tap water taste better.

I put them in water bottles and carafes beside the beds - it does make the water taste better I think! Can't harm anything if it doesn't?! Every 2 weeks I reboil them and that is the only maintenance to them

This is the second order I've made of this product. I love that it filters water without the pesky plastic that is so common in water filters. Each stick filters for 3-4 months. I boil the stick every 2-4 weeks to clean out the impurities filtered out by the stick. Ew, it definitely does the job. Apparently this works best in a glass pitcher, which I have. And when it's done, smash it down to put in your garden or compost. So no waste. Love this product, highly recommend.

Could be a bit slimmer too be able to fit in bottle w/ease. Other wise a great natural approach to keeping water tasty :)
