Best pad I have used. No leaks no smell.
These are more compact than other pads that are too long and narrow. The triangular shape is right for men. Nothing leaks out and no odors are evident. The wide stripe of adhesive keeps the pad in place but releases easily when you want to discard the used pad. Quite easy to use and very effective.

Men’s underwear pad.
Works well most of the time; but, does not absorb a heavy urination.

Very absorbent! MUCH more comfortable than wearing an adult diaper!
I'm disabled due to a spinal cord injury and while I'm able to control my bladder, a few months ago I started having small accidents. I'd notice small wet spots in my pants when I would go to urinate. I didn't know of these pads at the time and any diapers I tried in the past were way too uncomfortable. Even the diapers that were supposed to be very breathable made me sweat a lot. I resorted to cutting small (17×23) underpads in half, taping closed the cut end and shoving it in my pants in front of my privates. A little bulky but it worked. A friend recommended these Tena pads and I just got my first order, moderate absorbency. I did a little test to find out just how absorbent they are. I laid out a paper towel and unfolded one of these pads on top of the paper towel, absorbent side up. I then slowly poured 6 ounces of water onto the pad, pouring most of the water in the center of the pad. I was amazed to see that all the water was pretty much immediately absorbed. When I first started pouring it, a few drops of water rolled toward the edge of the pad but were absorbed before spilling onto the paper towel. I then picked up the pad to see if any water would drip out when I held it up and not one drop leaked out. What really surprised me was when I accidentally dropped the pad onto the paper towel and it landed with the absorbent side facing down, when I picked it up, the paper towel was still dry! Not one wet spot! Pretty amazing. I highly recommend these pads for anyone with incontinence problems, so much more convenient and more comfortable than wearing adult diapers!

"Moderate" was Shipped, not "Maximum". Thin but holds up to ~180 ml (6 oz).
Very Thin, absorbs quickly. Photo above is what was shipped. Seller's photo said Maximum, but this is only Moderate. I could NOT return UN-opened package. This Moderade Tena guard (3 drops) is half as thick as a competitors (Atten...) 3 drop guard (see photo on right). Absorption was faster with Tena. Tena held about 180cc before I could roll it up and get water to come out. Competitor was about 215 ml (7 ounces). Both of my tests used ALL of the pad surface and I gave ample time for absorption. These could be ideal for those with surges of limited volume. Not sure how this compares to their "Maximum" guard which seems harder to obtain. I wish actual quantity and absorption rates were listed on the products. The saturated Tena guard weighed 180 grams per my home test method. NOTE: Wings are wider than standard short underwear (stick out at the sides) and leakage can occur by the leg opening as wing absorption is slower especially if not against the skin. Boxer briefs may be more appropriate. Stars reduced 1 point due to seller's misleading photo and description. For a thin guard that's more like a wide shield, this is a decent product. For larger quantities, you'll need something more.

Worth the money
Good product not meant for heavy discharge but for medium this works and more comfortable than pads

I have easy instructions to fit the pad over modal, pouch briefs.
I feel a little awkward reviewing this item. But the fact is that I have an occasional "leak" or drip after urinating. I ordered the 20-pack of light pads. I wear briefs from the Obviously company. They are a soft, modal fabric with a front pouch. I was worried that I would have trouble getting the pads to fit. Once I figured out how to do it, it's easy. Here's my method. 1. Spread the underwear out (I did it on the bed) so that the front area is as flat as possible and the back is out of the way. 2. Apply the pad starting about 2 inches from the waist band. Get it as centered as you can. Don't take a lot of trouble making it stick in place. 3. Put the underwear on. 4. Spread the front of the underwear over the pad. The adhesive may release. Don't worry. Just cover the pad with your underwear. 5. Smooth the entire area to get the adhesive to stick again. Go all the way down between your legs. That sounds a lot more complicated than it really is. It only takes 30 seconds or so from start to finish. The result is that the pad is positioned perfectly, even with underwear that has a front pouch. The light duty pads are perfect for me. They do the job. It is easy to move the underwear with the pad aside when I use the urinal.

Ease of use
Have just tried one so far, but fit well, sized right and easy to use. Not sure of durability yet.

These work well and fit well very comfortable too, no sticky edges nipping your skin. I find if I plan my day ahead these are all I need. If not you may need a heavier ver.
