This is a fantastic book, with all sorts of healing exercises you can do on a partner, client, or alone. It is a wealth of information, and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to gain more knowledge on the healing properties of singing bowls.

This book is full of fantastic information & exercises. Simple to understand with sound healing exercises that anyone can do. Great breakdown of chakras & mantras.

love this singing bowl manual ! The content of the book has all the basic information I want to know about chakra healing and sound massage using singing bowls and gongs. The exercices are well explained with good pictures.

I was looking for a book that would help me get the most benefits from the seven Tibetan Singing Bowls that I own & help me give myself a sound bath in the privacy of my own home while performing sound meditation. I was disappointed that more detail was not given to this subject. I did find it helpful that the author gave correct positioning of bowls & how to strike bowls for self sound baths I would have liked for the author to have discussed other tools that could be used during a sound bath such as Thunder Drums, Infinity Rain Disks, Wave Drums, bells, & chimes.That being said, the book is a great overview for someone just starting out on their journey with very limited knowledge of singing bowls specifically wanting to learn about Tibetan/Himalayan singing bowls, gongs, & tingshas. One paragraph is given to crystal bowls. The book briefly tells you the difference between hammered bowls & manufactured bowls & briefly how to choose a bowl. A picture of various mallets is given, but no explanation is given as to size of mallets needed for large, medium, or small bowls. The book explains how to either strike or rub a Tibetan singing bowl.The seven chakras are briefly discussed with a recommendation of obtaining 3 bowls - large, medium, & small (with measurements given) & tones needed to cover chakras which is the best advise in the book. It was interesting reading about how to give a sound bath session to another person who is in good health. The author did not list medical conditions in which it is not safe to administer a sound bath such as when a person has metal screws & plates, a pacemaker, PTSD, or seizures.A good deal of the book was devoted to mantras which I do not use.The book is well written in easy to understand language for a novice. Truthfully all of this information could be obtained from Youtube with a great deal of effort & research like I did before buying my 1st set of singing bowls.I live in a region of the US that does have access to the purchase of supplies for sound therapy so I need all the help that I can get. Any valid information that I can obtain is most appreciated. Since I did not have access to bowls, was not able to test them nor know of reputable web sites, I relied on honest reviews of Amazon customers, video demos, & ratings of sellers before buying my bowls from Amazon & I still came out with average bowls in my price range. My advise is to purchase quality equipment.

I bought this book when my daughter gave me a singing bowl for my birthday. I wanted to really know how to use it and of course make it sing! I actually bought two of them, one for myself and one for my daughter which I purchased a singing bowl for her. This book gave you the instructions in the simplest way. I was able to make my bowl sing and able to use my bowl for my chakra healing and really enjoy this book.

Very informative and well written. As a beginner to sound healing therapies, this book is great! Good way to learn positions and placement at your own pace. Definitely a book I will continue to read over and over.

Excellent book, easy to follow, will recommend to anyone who wishes to learn about all the different ways to use their singing bowl.
