RATEL16 m / 52.5 ft sealing tape for doors, door seal, window anti-collision sealing strip with 1 pair of scissors for blocking cracks and gaps (brown)

I wish I came across this product earlier! We have 2 bedroom’s windows facing a very busy street applying this strip has made a significant difference in noise insulation as well as stopped the draft coming through completely. We have also applied strip on the door frame in our living room and it helped with draft reduction a lot. With noisy children in the house I have applied strip on the top of the each door frame to stop kids from banging the doors- worked a magic!

Really good stuff, sticky and easy to use.My wife has been complaining about draught in a living room, coming from garden window doors. Computer desk is just near the doors as well as our kid's travel cot, which is used as a playpen and for day naps. This cot just has mattress really low, like almost on the floor, where the wind has been running. We decided to seal the doors as every time the kid was sneezing, my wife was blaming it. She got a weather strip from amz as well, 6 metres for almost 4 quid. However, just be aware, that the measurement for these things is for a single strip and we really needed double for the doors, so we received basically 3 metres instead of 6 for 4 quid and it wasn't even close to be enough. I wish she's done a better search at that point... I bought this weather strip to finish the job we 've started and apparently it appeared to be a very good buy. 24 metres (12 for double strip) for just over 8 quid. Twice cheaper than we paid for the first one! Sticky and worked just as good. Window doors are done. No no notable draught, but noticed positive changes in condensation. We still have a generous amount of strips left and will keep it for the next year. Happy.

We live in a very draughty 400 year old cottage. Have spent two cold winters with a gale howling through the doors. Have tried other products and wasn't holding out much hope for this but the difference was immediate.This stuff is incredible. Easy to use and fit, can use single or double width. Can't recommend highly enough. It's like we live in a different house. Feels snug and warm.

In the weather recently, my front door has decided to leak & flood the hallway. Before having to replace the full front door, I first wanted to try some cheaper options so I re-siliconed the corners & bought this. It seems to have done the job but only time will tell! The description is a touch misleading as the title says rubber but if you read it properly you'll see it's actually foam. It is, however, what I was looking for & feels pretty sturdy with the option of up to 4 strips (see my picture). Hopefully it'll hold.

Very poor quality adhesive, doesn't stick to standard UPVC, painted wall, window gasket or glass. It's like the glue you get on the back of the post-it note.It was nice to get the measuring tape and cutters with it, but they are no help if the tape itself doesn't work.Can't comment on heat or sound insulation, as the tape couldn't stay up long enough. Also it came as two rolls of two-piece wide tape, not one solid roll of four - a minor point, but what is sent should be what is advertised.

I recently replaced the seals on my UPVC windows but there were a couple that still had small gaps allowing a draft to get through. This was after adjusting the windows to put them into winter mode.Thought I'd try some of this since the outlay wasn't great so if it didn't work I wouldn't have lost much money.This was easy to fit and the adhesive was good enough that I think it will hold and did allow me to remove the strip to make fine adjustments without any detrimental effect. Included within the package was a small tape measure and small cutting tool which was a nice addition and bot will come in handy in the future.This seems to have done the trick and my windows are now better sealed. I'd happily recommend this product.

Recently purchased a reclaimed wood bed and painted it. Used the framed bed slats from the previous bed (Feather and Black), but then found it was incredibly squeaky - enough to wake me in the night. So, purchased this to see if it would help. Indeed it has, no more squeaks, so delighted. Also, I did initially cut it to go round the corners but there is no need, you can just nip the inside bit and it curves around. I found the adhesive was good; however, not sure how long it would last if used for it's intended purpose. Cushions the metal slats frames very well. Hope this has been of help.

Great insulation tape. Has cut the drafts from the doors and windows in the house and conservatory, can definitely feel the difference. Very easy to use, sometimes the adhesive doesn't stick straight away but when warmed with the hairdryer, sticks great. I live on the corner of a very busy road and this insulation has dramatically reduced the road noise in all the front rooms.
