worth the money
purchased this for my bafang mid drive as i was going through chains every couple of months needed to take a couple of links off wow this is heavy duty chain splitter struggled with this one love it best chain iv had up till now and smooth gear changes

Smooth transition between gears.
I needed a longer chain for a 48t chainring with 8 speed cassette.Perfect length on a 20" MTB frame.Quick links included joined the chain in seconds.As this was a new build, after a little tweak of the derailer the chain operated smoothly and quietly without jumping and smooth through the transmission.

Great chain but if slipping replace cassette too
The old chain did not slip on old cassette except a little in top gear. Chain had snapped 3600 miles. Put on this chain and it was slipping the cogs. Put on new cassette as well and the the drive train is rock solid and can take as much pressure as I want in each gear. When it was slipping it was on the less used gears, first and second, indicating worn cassette. People have given the chain a bad review but I suspect it may be due to a worn cassette, as an old chain can work well with a worn cassette but a new chain won't.

My 8 speed chain is excellent
Really pleased with this chain. I’ve been chewing through ordinary chains so have finally gone for the e-bike chain on my hand built electric bike. Still relatively new but so far so good.

Maybe it’s me but this won’t work on my ebike
Peddle half the time is ok if I use my trigger on any gear setting higher then 3 on my bafang display and this chain just makes noise rattling till it comes off, I cut it the exact place of my old ones I even upgrade my chain ring to a new lekkie bbshd 42t wide it try’s it’s best but still comes off or rattles like mad I pop back my old chain boom no issues1000w bafang bbshd 48v. I would return it seen as it’s advertised for ebikes but I will just pop this on my old bike maybe this chain would of worked if I went up in speed who knows it’s a shame looked well made
