Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Carafe

Keeps warm stuff warm and cold stuff cold. The thermometer on the top tells you where you stand, too. Its appearance is a bit utilitarian, but it does what its supposed to do very well

A friend gave me one of these about 10 years ago, and it's been great! We make our weekend coffee with a French Press, and one of the weaknesses of French Press is that it cools quickly, as the device is non-insulated. This solves that for us. We make the coffee and decant it into this carafe.10 years later, the internal seal in the top gave out, and I was glad to find another one here on Amazon. Thank you!

We've had the Laroma 2.0Lt stainless steel 2.0L carafe for about two years and have had mixed feelings about the purchase. It only does a mediocre job of keeping the coffee hot for more then a few hours, the temp indicator only works well when carafe is full and not the red pour control tab has now broken. I'm now forced to look for a replacement and will not be purchasing this carafe again.

Love the carafe and have learned to pour it without dribbles... However after daily use for about 8 months the red button has stopped functioning correctly. It didn't break as the other reviewer commented, it just no longer works the plunger mechanism. No spare parts seem to be available, so we are looking for a replacement.

After breaking many glass liners in other carafes it seemed like a good idea to go with a stainless carafe. First problem I noticed is that coffee would migrate into parts of the lid where it shouldn't go, and the would leak out at bad times. Second problem was that it did cause lots of dribbles while pouring. But the ultimate kick is that while the liner is still in great shape the red plastic piece that you press to pour cracked inside the lid. Looking closely at it there is a an inherent weak spot in the design where the red plastic surrounds the temperature probe and that's where it cracked. Contacted the store where I purchased and they are unable to locate any warranty for this carafe which, in theory, is supposed to last a lifetime.

You only a get a decent temperature reading if it happens to be completely full, rendering this product's "extra" feature fairly worthless for the average home consumer. Worst of all, it drips and spills all over the place after you pour a cup.

I've had this carafe for about six months now. I like the way it keeps my tea hot for hours. I have no problem with dripping or spilling when pouring. I am very pleased with the carafe.
