Faber-Castell Pitt Artist Pastel Pencil 101 White

I bought this pencil after watching a tutorial where the artist used one to highlight her watercolour painting once it was dry. It looked really effective so I wanted to give it a go. Having now tried it myself I am hooked - I love the way it glides on smoothly and holds its colour. Try it on the tips of flower petals or just to highlight the odd part of a painting - it really does make it pop.

Lovely soft pastel, great strong colour. I use it to "cheat" with quick highlights on my watercolour paintings.However could amazon not find larger packing? A4 cardboard envelope for a pencil. Ah well carbon boots on these feet.

This pencil is really good to hold and when sharpe good to outline . I used it for marking out a Fire Pit Globe , did find the point does break when sharpened so a bit of waste , even with a new pencil sharpener .

Very good pastel pencil, they last for ages and are extremely easy to use, great for high lights, I think these are the best

There is nothing negative to sat about any of FABER CASTELL Products.I have been using their Pastel pencils and sticks for well over 20years. They are without doubt the very best you can buy at Amazon‘s price.
