Absinthe Balancier (See-Saw dripper) from Bonnecaze Absinthe & Home

I am pleased to say this piece is nice and sturdy. Not a "tank", but not too delicate to carefully wash and DRY with a towel. Those who complain about rust should simply pat this dry with a clean towel first, and then leave it to air dry more completely. There are some nooks and crannies between parts, and the interior of the reservoir is a little rough... almost a brushed finish. The exterior is gorgeous and has a flawless high polish. The timing of the mechanism is mesmerising and maybe at the least, good fun. What a great tool to help create a meaningful ritual out of the evening libation. The joints, reservoir, and legs are sturdy and seem that they should last many years. I was hesitant to spend as much as i did, based solely on pictures and a few reviews. I am very pleased with this purchase. I've also ordered sacers from this company. Also fantastic in quality. A+

This is great to use when you're fixing up a traditional served Absinthe drink. Just put this over your glass, some ice (not much), and slowly add water as you watch this slowly drip the water into the Absinthe and slowly melt the sugar cube on the Absinthe spoon. Works great.

Works wonderfully, though just a little fragile (the seesaw can be made very slightly uneven pretty easily if packed into luggage, which messes up the motion) and the hole can rust very easily if not dried properly after use

The product is exactly as advertised and I am very happy. Funny, my first order arrived and the nix was completely empty. The merchant was just as surprised as I was. They were quick to respond to my message and I had a new box (this time with the item) within a weeks time.

I have to say, if you want a unique way to drink absinthe, this is it. I’ve used a regular dropper before and this thing is more entertaining and like $175+ cheaper. It works very much like one of those “drinking bird” toys, and it’s just fun to watch while waiting for the perfectly louched glass of absinthe. I actually tried using other liquids to louche with and cold green tea is *quite* good. Happy drinking!

The swinging part would just get stuck, and the drip would be a mess. For the price its sold, I expected waaay better quality, and in working condition.

The media could not be loaded. Saw is a bit hit or miss in terms of a swift back and forth motion, saw unevenly distributes water and in doing so poorly melts a sugar cube. A traditional fountain or really any other drip device would be far superior, this does have a nice presentation to it. However Misses the mark especially at the price point. I will not return it however I don't forsee myself getting much use out of it. Will simply keep as a cool novelty item.
