Roli Books Dot Line Shape: The basic elements of design and illustration

So this book is veryyyy nice. It shows the work of many designers and gives a bit of explanation on every design. It also provides a kind of interview approach with questions to the designers and their answers. It is a kind of back to basics book which can profit to beginners as well as experimented designers. I, myself, am a student in graphic design. Victionary is one great resource to find great books about design. This was my honest review!

This book shows how the basic of art's elements in complex contemporary work of graphic design.

The title and the blurb for this book led me to think it was a text explaining the use of elements in design, but in fact it is just a collation contemporary graphic design examples, with little commentary and no explanation of principles.
