Maxima Racing Oils 50-02901 10wt V-Twin Fork Oil - 32 fl. oz.

I recently swapped my OEM FXDB fork internals to Patriot Genesis springs from Amazon. Doing your oil is a must when swapping springs. This replaced my filthy, probably stock oil from the factory with clean and free flowing for oil. I am a lighter rider but am still pretty hard on my bike so I went up a weight. 5 is stock and 10 was just a little heavier. No longer do I have ANY nose dive. Waaaaaaaaaaaaay safer in turns and braking. This is partly the springs but also the oil. I would wager that just the oil would show an improvement. Anyway, great oil. Love Maxima, I will buy again.

I always double check parts before doing any job, but this bottle makes no sense: "Type B - 10WT". The sku matches up to the Maxima website for 10WT however the "B" isn't helping. Type B is 5WT oil. I understand this to be a label typo that went into production, however how can I be certain this is 10WT? Seems this seller bought a pallet of mislabeled product on the cheap. I am very disappointed with this purchase in more ways than one. ZERO RATING.

Packaged nicely, arrived on time, no leakage. It's oil, not much to say that I can think of. I put heavy duty fork springs in my front end, I didn't want really light weight or extremely heavy weight. I'm quite certain this weight will help. If I was a bigger guy with a large women, I probably would have got a heavier weight but I believe with myself and the wife, this middle weight should work out quite nicely.

Slick, clean, clear, doesn't smell like 100 year old rotting fish. Unlike the oil I drained from the 2008 Showa forks I was rebuilding.After that it's on you man.

Just the right amount of oil for both stanchions. I used this 32oz bottle for seal replacements on my 2007 Honda Shadow Spirit 750. 16 oz in one, and 16 in the other. That's what the owner's manual says to put in them exactly.
