Unfortunately I had to return, item was very used, and when I mean used, it had some kind of gross dried up liquid still sitting in the bowl portion. It had been returned and restocked when it shouldn’t have. I don’t think that was the seller’s fault. The scale itself was nice, but I wasn’t going to test it out.

I do pottery and I use this to measure out the weight of the clay for various items. I've been using a small digital kitchen scale--but this is so much easier. Plus, I don't have to turn keep turning it back on like I do the digital scale.

This scale is mage of the thinnest possible metal. It would be fine for basic use like I wanted, good items etc…. With so thin of metal, mine was dented obviously from the manufacturer as it was a crushing bend. Missing hardware, a small nut, again from the manufacturer, the screw was not screwed into a nut held by a plastic holder, rather screwed into the plastic at an angle to hold.
