Had it for almost 7 years!!!!!
Still going strong. It delivers on every promise. Sound quality and battery life are fantastic! I have own AGPTEK products in the past. i bought this one nearly 7 years ago now. it was my third mp3 player by this company. i love their products. i think this is one of the best mp3 players on the market. sound quality and functionality are amazing for the price. i dont think it can be beat. i run this thing continuously and its still going with no issue after 7 years!!!! i have over 3000 music files on it with more than 3 months of continuous music total playtime. i have expanded it up to 128gb. and with 600 songs on the main player and more than 2000 on the sd card i primarily run it from the card. very rarely does it say it cant read the card. no problem just turn the device off pull out the card put it back in and its fine. my favorite part about this device is the very quick and convenient skip song function it has a lock function but its not needed. just tapping the buttons while jogging or exercising or from my bed is easy and immediately wakes up the device and skips to next songs. very useful. i have used it in excursive bands and worn in pockets doing yard work etc. in my shop it very rarely would press buttons. you'd literally have to be pressed up against something and move around to skip a song or pause. really no big deal. i highly recommend this product. mine has been running for years straight. my room is always full with music. this is the absolute champ that makes that happen! i am honestly truly grateful. its life changing/saving!

A Music Player, Not A Supercomputer
I needed a new music player after swearing off smartphones. This device is everything it claims to be. Extremely lightweight and hard to damage by dropping. It also survived a trip through the washing machine while on and playing with no ill effects. Absurdly long battery life and short recharge time. It's like the best version of the ipod nano, except better in every way that matters for a fraction of the price. It doesn't lag or get really hot for no reason. It doesn't randomly interrupt your music saying "sorry, I didn't understand that. please repeat." It has actual buttons instead of a touch screen or that stupid wheel so it doesn't randomly adjust the volume if it's in your pocket. Best music player I've ever owned, and also the least expensive.

AGPTEK A02S MP3 Player: not bad and pretty is what it says it is on the tin
Its pretty much exactly as described and pictured in the product description, which is good, so there isn't too much to add there.I use mine for when I don't want to carry a cellphone while jogging or walking.I will say the battery life, while slightly exaggerated, is pretty close to the advertised numbers. I've had mine a couple of weeks and use it daily and I'm getting closer to 60-ish hours of run time instead of 70. Still pretty good though. Does charge faster thanks to USB-C which is nice too.Buttons aren't hard to figure out coming from a Sansa Clip. I didn't even read the instructions and figured it out in a couple of minutes.Overall construction of the device does feel a bit cheap but then the product itself is cheap so I'm fine with it.One oddity is the power switch on the bottom isn't necessary to turn it off. You can also turn it off by long pressing the center button. Not sure why but its a easy mistake to make so I thought I'd mention it.If it was better made, or had a proper click wheel, then I'd give it 4.5 or 5 stars. As is its not bad at all but could be a bit better.

Garbage for Audiobook listening
Purchased this hoping to finally find a current generation MP3 player for listening to audiobooks. This is not it. I only added 1 book to give it a whirl, but encountered several problems: First, the display line is limited on characters, so if the book title is long, you cannot read to the end of the line where the book part is listed. eg. "Journey to the Cen..." - hence, you cannot see at a glance what part you are on. This is lame, but wouldn't have been a deal breaker if you could count on the part ordering to be accurate. I transferred a book with 14 parts, and at the top it displays 1/14, 2/14, etc.; problem is, the display part # doesn't = the book part #. 1/14 in reality was part 10 or 11. This is a common issue with many players when book part numbers exceed 9, and Parts below 10 don't have a 0 in front (eg. part 01 vs part 1). Sadly, with the limited text line, you have to skip to each part to find the beginning of the book! Another major issue I had was that once I found the beginning of the book, when Part 1 concluded, instead of moving on to Part 2, it skipped to some other random part of the story! I don't know if the parts transferred over to the player out of order (didn't appear to be the case in folder view on desktop), or if some shuffle mode was stuck enabled. Other things I hated: there is no power off/on resume feature, so you turn it on, and instead of picking up where you left off, you have to hunt for the track you were last on. Bookmarking is also a joke, as they are broken out by track, meaning you have to scroll to the track you were on before you can access the bookmark you set. Lastly, I appreciate that they include a speed feature to listen at a quicker pace, however the speed difference is negligible, even at highest setting, and doesn''t stay engaged, so you have to bump it back up each time you listen. Overall, CRAP for audiobooks listening. Returning!
