I purchased this kit to add swivels to my 10/22 wooden stock to prepare for a marksmanship event. The instructions were quite good and even specified the drill size (3/16"). After drilling into the stock, the studs installed very easily using a 1/8" Allen key to turn the studs. I did use a bit of dish soap to lubricate the threads on the studs.

Fit perfect on a Remington 700, no issues.

Quality construction, looks good. Does what it is supposed to do.

disconnect easy enough yet hold strong and are quiet. and affordableI have used these for years on hunting guns in 1 inch , but purchased these in 1 1/4 inch to use with a GI web sling at Project Appleseed , I prefer to unclip and keep my loop sling on my arm in position between prone stages as well as reconfigure my sling between stages so that it doesn't take from my prep time and I can get in position , find NPOA and breath to make sure my eyes have oxygen and my heart rate is as low as I can get it in the allotted time. used these in shooting Rifleman with a bolt action rifle when you have to work the bolt for every round you need all the time you can save to get aim and cycle the bolt.

They work great. I did add just a touch of wood glue and have had no problems with them coming out or moving.

After drilling holes into my wood stock they were a bit difficult to install, i should have used a slightly larger drill bit amd drilled them a litle buit deeper. I dont remeber what size drillbit i sued. I just matched the swivel with the drill bits and found the one that was the same size and went down three sizes (deep threads on the swivel mounts) Other than that They work great, no problems with them ripping out of my stock or anything like that, The swivels them selves work great with the sling i purchased,

I purchased these to install on my 10/22 wooden stock but I have not had a chance for the actual install. You also need a drill and the proper bits for putting the right hole in the wood. I do not have those bits and since the purchase, have decided to go with a synthetic Hogue stock for my 10/22 (the wood is HEAVY). These are still a great product and feel of the highest quality, I just haven't had the chance to see them "in action". The machining is very nice with no rough edges and the release system makes me confident in this products ability to hold any sling I would have installed. IF this is the right fit for your use, buy!
