Excellent robotic arm
Excellent robotic arm for the money. High-quality components and servo motors and multiple ways to control the robot arm. Within minutes of assembly, we were controlling the robot via mouse and then via a quite full-featured app (available for PC and phone) that does much more than just move the servos independently (e.g. group actions, precise measure readings on position and temperature, etc). There's a python library (pip install xarm) that also worked flawlessly on first try. I haven't tried it but you can also control it via arduino and there's even a project site with a library and documentation to control the robot with ROS + python alongside a virtual version inside a simulator. In short, this kit is a platform for many serious and ambitious projects. My minor complaint is that the several different types of screws come in little bags but are not clearly labeled. I might have followed the video instructions incorrectly, but I also ended up not enough of the narrow 6mm screws short of what I needed. Robot still works but, in a few places, I have 3 rather than 4 screws securing things in place. That said, I and my teenager are extremely happy with this arm.

Barely holds any weight.
This can barely hold a small GoPro camera in the hand. Will definitely be returning. If you only want to pick up a ping pong ball this might work. Sorry. Was expecting to be able to hold a small GoPro camera.

Amazing for the price, but.
The 'but' comes in to the fact that there are no written assembly instructions to be found. There are three videos of good but hard to follow instructions online. Too many of the parts are so small making you have to use tweezer etc. Once assembled however the arm is easy to use and there are so many ways to use it and program. I like the remote that came with it. Once again though I still can't find the software or apps.

Instructions are not clear. Initial start up buggy.
After assembly, trying to connect to the PC software, the software did not work as according to video. I am very frustrated by this product. There is no clear procedure for when the software doesn't work. I have written the support line, and am waiting for a solution.

The iS is a piece of junk
It is a POS. I am an electronics engineer for 40 years this Robo arm is a piece of crap, easy to assemble but operates severely poor..

Do not buy this model!
Right out of the box could not get #4 servo to do anything and gripper servo would only open.

To expensive for this poor quality of connections. Metal parts are absolutely fine. But it doesn't help as the arm is loosing connection after few sessions. Electronics is of very poor quality for this price! Good idea, good metal parts, poor electronics => the whole tool is not reliable for multiple times at all. Money loss.
