The lid seals really REALLY well and can be difficult to remove which I personally like about it due to knowing the food is as air tight as can be, the color is bright and vibrant which I loveI don't have to worry about burning my hands when using it either which is a major plus I always worry about dropping glass bowls when using oven mitts since it becomes slippery but the rubber lining on the outside solves that problem really well

Update,still holding up like new,seals water in even upside down still, dishwasher easy Chan, not chiping, very well made. Won't buy any other. I expect wear n tear over time but su far still like new amazed. I resurched so many no others compare. Granted all things glass can break n break over time deepending on use n how careful you are but this is the healthiest safest bang for ur buck in my opinion. Can’t give 5 stars because of insufficient care and use info on paperwork. I saw nothing on wrapping indicating propose use of lid. Had to go back to online literature to see that the lid (which is plastic) cannot be used in microwave or oven. Makes sense, but should be listed on wrapping with other care and use info!! How many ppl look at wrapping or included paperwork for info???

This is a very nice bowl. I primarily will be using it to take my lunch to work. Generous size and microwaveable. Also a pretty color.
