Nice, juicy and fresh. These 12 vanilla beans weigh 1.2 ounces on my scale. Smell is wonderful!

I bought these and made homemade vanilla as gifts at Christmas. They were actually the best I have purchased on Amazon to date. I hate they are out of stock, the are wonderful quality and taste.

These beans are very good quality for the price. They are a little small short about 6 in but that's okay the smell is great and their flavors really excellent too.

Update: So my original review was poor. I was since contacted by the company who made it right. I was very impressed that they reached out to me to find out what was wrong and how they could fix it. They sure did. I did some additional research and eventually decided to use the beans (that I still had for some reason) to try to make vanilla extract. Oh. My. Goodness! I didn't give these beans a fair chance. I put the beans in a glass bottle and covered them with vodka. It takes 612 months to make extract but within 2 days, the smell coming from the bottles was heavenly. Although I wasn't pleased with them for baking (my original intent), I think I am going to love the extract they make. Only another 6 months to wait to find out, but judging from the smell, I think I am going to be a very happy baker.Original review: For years I have heard about the incredible taste of using vanilla beans and scraping the seeds. I finally bought these to try it out on a vanilla cake. What an absolute waste of money! There was no aroma to the beans when I opened the package and the seeds added zero flavor to my cake. I tried to return or replace it and found that since Amazon is handling the sale of this item, it is not returnable and I can't even find a place online to ask for a replacement. Apparently there is no recourse if you purchase this subpar product.Don't waste your money on it. Buy a reputable pure vanilla extract instead.

I bought these beans after reading many reviews to make homemade vanilla extract. The beans looked nice and thick and smelled great! They smell so good and were easy to cut and put in my bottles. They were large beans and very dark in color. Unfortunately I do not know how they taste yet because the vanilla extract has to sit for at least 6 months so I will update my review at that time.

Definitely not very long at less than 6” BUT soft and “meaty” so I will order at this great price. I got some from a different seller but they were dry and shriveled.

Using the pods (split) to make my own vanilla extract. So far the bottle of vodka has aged 4 months and the liquid is turning very dark. Came nicely sealed in vacuum packaging to keep fresh.

I was wondering what to expect because the price was great on these, and I was pleasantly surprised at the freshness, quality, and aroma.

The vanilla beans came in a vacuum sealed clear plastic bag, they smelled amazing when I opened the package. They were easy to work with, I used several to make vanilla extract and will use the remaining for baking. Great flavor, fresh and a awesome price! Recommend

The beans were full and waxy and well sealed. They were very fresh and perfect for making my first batch of Vanilla Extract! I used bourbon as the alcoholic base after splitting the pods and they smelled divine! Will update once the extract is finished in a few months!

I wanted to see how good these were because the price made me think they might be a little subpar, but holy moly they are good! I prefer to use actual beans for nearly everything that requires vanilla and these beans have been delicious! I've recommended them to my friends and family, and when I run out I will be back for more.

We did used them to better up cheap white rum. Works awsome :)

Received these on August 26th 2022. I made a batch of Vanilla Extract with these Vanilla beans they were in a seal package and each were soft and oily and pliable when cutting to expose the seeds they were fresh looking. Very fragrant now I must wait to taste my Vanilla ExtractHappy costumer here I would recommend these beans anytime!!
