Unlike chokers that can tighten and not release, damage sensitive neck anatomy or even cause death of your pet, this Slip Collar by YUCFOREN is designed to tighten and relax and it works perfectly.My pup 🐕Soff🐕 is too small for this collar, but we have canine friends who are just right and were happy to test it out. We used an exuberant cocker and a stubborn westie, both of whom walked nicely, in very short order. The cocker was attached to a flexi leash and the westi to a 12’ nylon static leash; no issues with either.The collar and lead are woven very tightly and the leather stopper is made well and easy to adjust. By far, the best thing about this collar is the slip and release function - it’s smooth, no hitches at all, providing you put the collar on in the correct direction. It should look “P” when it’s placed over your dogs head, then bring the ring that attaches to your leash DOWN towards the ground and clip it to the leash. If you start with a “d” or “b” and pull UP to clip on, the slip and release function won’t work properly.
