This publication suffers from a major problem, which is that it gives salary estimates that are far lower than are available in the real jobs market. For example, it will state that medical GPs earn £40k pa, estate agents earn £40k pa, plumbers earn £40k pa, electricians earn £40k pa, Surveyors earn £40k pa and that Accountants earn £40k per annum. In reality, there is a much wider range of salaries depending on the niche, the area of the country you work in and the experience/seniority.This misinformation is very dangerous because it discourages students from careers that require long periods of study. Why should someone spend so long studying medicine when they can earn the same amount by being an estate agent?
