Kinesio Tex Gold FP Tape 1" x 5.5 Yards BEIGE (Pack of 4 Rolls)

Kinesio tape is great for many physical body scenarios. I have tried other brands which are not as effective as the Kinesio Tex Gold brand. It is very adhesive and generally lasts at least three days. You can shower with it on, swim, sweat, etc. It is also easy to take off and little adhesive is left on your skin. **I learned how to apply the tape for my injury from my physical therapist, I recommend talking to them before applying on yourself.

While this is great having 1" tape to fit my thumb, the edges lift (even when cut rounded). The sides of the tape also fray, leaving strings. This happens the same day it's applied. You're better off with another brand of KT tape and cutting 2" tape in half.

The best I’ve found so far…

This latest Kinesio Tex Gold tape I bought, does peel off a day later. The last one I had (3 years ago, from my doctor), stayed on my skin longer, several days. The only difference was the width was 1.5 " then, and this new one is 1".

I had an ankle replacement a few months ago. I watched a few videos and purchased this product. I wear a compression stocking in the day and K-tape at night to reduce edema. I'm 70. No one needs to be a young athlete to benefit from K-tape.
