Video AV Component Adapter Cable Replacement for TCL TV, 3 RCA to 3.5mm AV Input Adapter

All I needed was something compatible to hook our old VCR into my TCL flatscreen. Now I can watch VHS movies with my nephews if I want, as well as old home movies! Very easy to use. You just plug it into the VCR and then into the right spot in the back of your tv. I haven’t noticed a change in video quality when using it. I mean I’m watching some old tech on some new tech so some quality difference is to be expected but that’s no fault of this product.

I have a TCL 55S451. Bought this adapter after other, cheaper adapters failed, and after seeing it SPECIFICALLY said this adapter works on TCL TVs.Had to wait a week longer than expected to receive the adapter. When it finally arrived, I opened the envelope to find a dusty plastic baggy with a clearly used adapter inside.Regardless, I plugged it in, and got the same issue the last adapters have given me. No video, and only 1 channel of audio. I tried all possible arrangements of the plugs, and the best I got was the results shown in the video.Don't waste your time on this garbage. Works just as bad as the $5 adapters, you're just paying for the extra wait time and dust allergies.If anyone knows where I can find an adapter that ACTUALLY works with my TCL model, please let me know...

After checking the pinout, I figured I could just swap white and yellow around and that would work on my Sony Bravia, seeing as it’s almost impossible to buy the right cable in the UK for these TV’s.Worked PERFECTLY. 10/10 would recommend.For Sony TV’s just swap the white and yellow when plugging in.
