Perfect for generous portions of overnight oats
These storage containers are perfect for my intended use: overnight oatmeal. I recently developed sort of an addiction to Brekki and Mush overnight oats. When it became impossible to keep them on hand--they were always out of stock--I decided to try making my own. I already had experience with this brand and variety of containers, so I bought two sets of these and got to work! When you buy ready-to-eat overnight oats, you're getting approximately the same quantity as today's yogurt containers, about 5+ ounces. Because I'd gotten into the habit of eating this for dinner (along with some vegan yogurt and fresh fruit), I needed more than 5 ounces! These containers do the job. I'm using one cup of oats plus one cup of vegan milk per bowl. Then I toss in various additions, stir it all up, and let them sit in the fridge overnight. Perfection! If you're new to making overnight oats, it's super simple. Just use one part oatmeal (regular or quick, but NOT steel-cut or instant) to one part milk. I'm vegan, so I only use plant-based milks; mine include vanilla almond or soy milk and dark chocolate almond milk. Once you've experimented a bit, you'll know whether to add more or less of either main ingredient, depending on your personal texture preferences. These bowls are tough! I dropped one yesterday, bam!, smack on my hardwood floor....and it just bounced and rolled and came to a stop. No damage whatsoever. Other glass containers would've easily cracked or shattered. The lids fit perfectly. They're not hard to use at all--they snap on easily, then you can 'burp' them if you want. They're also easy to get off--and I say that as someone with arthritic fingers. These bowls and lids are very easy to clean; they stack nicely in the refrigerator or cabinets; and they look good, too!

Perfect size for overnight oats
Breastfeeding mama here and overnight oats are my daily breakfast, while i love the look of the little mason jar pinterest overnight oats, have you ever tried eating out of a dang mini mason jar, i searched for something better and found it in these, they are sturdy, the lids are snug and seem decent quality and they are the perfect size for me to be making my oats in. Definitely a great buy!

ALL of the lids crack.
ALL of the lids cracked. Do not buy! I also have another set with three different sizes, the same. Worthless now as containers.

Heavy Duty Glass
These are wonderful mine arrived promptly well packed with zero damage ( I got 2 sets of 3-- 2 cup sze ).They are great for the microwave open a can of Soup, Ravioli , Veggies or such and it just fits (near the top for a 15 oz can) but works fine for us easy to store and stack leftovers if you fridge room is limited. Clean up is a breeze since they are heavy duty glass . The lids of course are not as heavy duty I hand wash them myself but so far no issues with the lids either . I do NOT microwave the lids you can but over time it will effect the lid so I advise against this. We have a household that works different shifts so like last night I was able to take all the leftovers and put them each in their own container and stack them in the fridge when my Daughter got home all she had to do was get them out take off lids and place in the microwave for a few mins . I am a fan of glass as it can be sanitized and can last forever if taken care of . I have some of these that were my Grandmothers that are still perfect . I find the 2 cup size to be just right for us I can cook the main dish in the air fryer and fill 3-4 with veggies and pop in the Micro and we are good to go. LOVE them worth every penny for something that will last generations if taken care of without the worries of what is in the materials. I only wish I had purchased another set or 2 at the price I gave . These also make a great housewarming or newlywed gift a gift that will last and hold up tp the test of time and be used.

Quality item for my home use requirements.
ITEM Reviewed - Anchor Hocking Classic Glass Food Storage Containers with Lids, Blue, 2 Cup (Set of 3):Purchased in June 2021 (it is now Nov 2021) and have used theses and can report with my favorable recommendation. The lids are pliable with an effective sill and they have continued so far to sill after multiple uses (including freezer storage use).Of course, the glassware has shown to be durable and I like the 2 cup volume size.I would not hesitate to purchase this item (if / when it becomes necessary at some future date).

I love these bowls
I mostly use these to feed my son. The size is perfect for an 18 month old. Also great to use as storage because they have a lid. Price is just right too. If I had more space I would buy more.
