Those who have never played a brass instrument can make it play too, don’t just blow into it, with closed mouth place lips on mouthpiece and blow air causing your lips to buzz. Amazing replica. Yes, it does actually play and sounds beautiful. You just need to practice embouchure. The mouthpiece works the same as a brass instrument like a Trumpet. Watch some tutorials on YouTube.

The horn has incredible craftsmanship and is essentially identical to the movie’s. I got this for my brother and he confirmed it CAN be played - it is a horn and you need embouchure to play it! Amazing piece. Makes me want to run through a forest and cut down some orcs.

I absolutely love the horn. It's got weight to it and looks just like the picture. The holder that you can hang it on is great too. The only criticism I have is some reviews I read stated that you can blow the horn and it makes a sound. The only sound it makes is air blowing through it. I didn't expect it to sound like the one in the movie and honestly bought it to display not use. I did think it would make some type of noise but I love it nonetheless.

The Horn of Gondor well made, fine craftsmanship and it actually works, the strap is made of Genuine leather and it comes with a Polystone hanger, a must for any LOTR fan.

However, if you blow into it hard enough it sounds like a horn.
