This cover should be considered when buying a Tonneau cover for your truck.I wanted a Tonneau cover for my new F-150, having previously purchased a BAKFlip from Bakindustries for my son's F-150. I was again going to purchase a BAKFlip. However, my new F-150 had an automatic tailgate, and I didn't want to mess around raising the cover before closing the tailgate.Following some research, I opted for the Gator EFX Hard Tri-Fold Truck Bed Tonneau Cover, and it's an advantage for me because I could open and close the tailgate without lifting the bed cover. A bonus was that it was more cost-effective than the BAKflip.It took about an hr to fit, taking my time to ensure a good, snug fit. Looks fantastic, and the quality is great. Installation was straightforward, as the included instructions were perfect.The only area where the BAKFlip has this particular model beaten is that you can fold back all 3 panels; with the Gator EFX, the third panel is fixed. I don't intend to use the bed for tall large items, so this wasn't a major problem.The panel is very lightweight, making both opening and closing super easy for my wife, and during those occasions that I may want to transport larger items - removing the cover in its totality will be easy.The only area that I can't give feedback on yet is waterproofing. However, the supplied fixing strip and drain tubes shows consideration from Gator regarding this. Having ensured that daylight can't be seen during installation - I'm highly confident that this won't be an issue. I'll update you as and when.Very happy with my purchase and recommend considering it during your research for a tonneau cover.

Easy to install, great looking with quality materials.

This is the third Gator Tonneau cover I've purchased over the last several years. The first was a soft roll up and the second was a hard bifold cover. Both were excellent and had zero issues. This cover originally shipped with a bent rail. I called Amazon to see if a replacement part could be sent however the only option was for an entire replacement to be shipped. A few days later the replacement arrived in perfect condition. I watched Gators YouTube installation video before ordering. The installed states if you have the factory Ford bedliner you will have to may have to make an alteration to fit the tonneau cover. What that meant was cut giant chunks out as pictured. Had I known that I would have not ordered for this truck. However, already being an exchange in on a $900 item I wasn't sure of Amazon would return the 2nd one. The installation video was very helpful and even having to cut the bed and installing alone it only tool about 90 minutes. The cover uses plastic stops to lock the cover. I am a little concerned on how long those will last but I'm confident I can build a replacement of it comes to that. Cover looks amazing but sits a little high above the bed near the tailgate. I've heard zero sound driving at highway speed. Overall Id say this is a 4star product ***assuming the plastic bumper stops last***. If you have a factory ford bedliner you may have similar issues with other brands of rolling tonneau covers. The canister can't sit as close to the cab because the bedliner angles in on the edges.

Installed easily and fits my 2025 F150 Lariat perfectly. Opens and closes with little effort and does not interfere with tailgate operation. No movement at highway speeds like the soft covers I have previosly owned. The latch system can be operated from either side. Appears to form a tight seal when latched and I found no evidence of leakage after a heavy rain. On the whole, an excellent value.
