It's on 18 count material and the needle provided is a bit small. So I washed the material as it was quite stiff and that seems to have made it easier. It's a fun and pretty easy kit to do.

Loved the project. The pattern is easy to follow and it turned out very pretty. I like the Dimensions brand. Would recommend this project.

This was my first cross-stitch project and I am not quite finished. I got off by one square on a portion and had to rip that part out so I am going to have to order more thread. If I had done as suggested and looped my loose ends back through finished stitches (on the back) then I wouldn't have had to rip it out, I could've salvaged and reused the thread. Totally my fault and part of the learning process. I like the thread organizer that is included and I love that it comes with its own mat. I would have preferred that the thread be a standard brand that I could buy at the local hobby shop, although most people probably won't have to re-order anyway. Also, I wouldn't consider this a weekend project, particularly for a beginner. I am including a photo of my project in progress.

Description says it comes with a hoop this is not the case. Make sure you buy one if you don’t already own one

The mat is too small for the finished product. Kinda disappointing.

This kit was complete. The instructions are fairly easy to understand. May be a little difficult for beginners as some combined colors are used. Turns out beautiful produce. Border goes well with design.

I am still in the process of stitching this together for my Father who was in the Marine Corp. It looks good so far. The only thing I could say that could use some improvement is on the pattern, it's kind of hard to make out some of the symbols for the color chart. But that has to do with the manufacturer not the seller. Still it's a nice kit and can't wait to finish it for him.

This is a great counted cross stitch for several reasons:It has the patterns for the Army, Air Force, Marines, Navy, and Coast Guard.The threads are very well organized.It comes with a picture frame mat that can accommodate a photo as well.It ships quickly.

it's 18pt aida, so very tiny to work. The item is much smaller than I thought but there is a nice mount so it should look good when finished and framed.

Love the kit great touch that it comes with the mount
