I sell a decent amount of items online (e.g. clothing on Vinted). I've previously used plastic mailing bags/envelopes, which are good, but tend to be quite thin and not great for the planet. I purchased these on a whim, and they proved to be a great investment. They have proved spacious (I can post bulky items with ease), and very sturdy so I don't need to worry about rough handling or rips during transit. Every item has arrived intact and exactly as I posted it, using these bags, even in the extremes of weather. The fact that these are good for the planet (when compared with other mailing packaging), makes me feel a lot better about packaging and posting items.

Been using for years and they’re great but please consider changing the width to 35 cm. I have to tape up the long edge by 1 cm to comply with Royal Mail small parcel sizes. It might save the company money by reducing material costs too.

We absolutely love these bags!!! We sell string and rope for Macramé - we tend to send out orders ranging from 500g-5kg, the simplelifeco bags are the perfect size to fit our products in comfortably and securely. We use a combination of the black “plastic” compostable bags and these larger brown paper bags, depending on the size of the order. We love the eco credentials of the bags, and we took a long while trying to find a product that is truly home compostable, but retaining the quality needed to use as our go to postage bag. I was sceptical at first about sending things out in paper but they’re a really solid construction, and all of the products we’ve sent out have arrived in perfect condition. Our customers love the fact their orders are sent in such a low impact way too… The company is run by a lovely couple who are excellent at communication too… what’s not to love?

I use this for my small business, much nicer to use than the plastic jiffy bags. I would say that they are really food value for money, and high quality. Even though it’s paper, its quite thick and I haven’t had any issue with the malleability - they are very easy to use and fold to your needs. I have had no complaints about my packaging. My only nit-pick is that I wish they did even smaller sizes for the bags, but that is a personal preference considering what I sell!

UPDATE: I was sent a new set of bags with improved closure. Thanks for that. These were great. OLD REVIEW: Sadly they don’t cut it for me. I packed it all up in the evening. And when I got to the post office the next day moat of the adhesive had started to loosen. I had to panic buy plastic tape to seal all bags. Which defeats the purpose of these being 100% eco. Glad I noticed before I sent them off!! As items could have come out of the packages.

Great bags to use for posting clothes I’ve sold on Vinted 👍🏼 I went for the large so I could fit any item in them. For smaller items it’s easy to fold them over again and the sticky seal feels very sturdy and strong! Looks very smart all packaged up 👍🏼

Used these for a while now as they're the only large and eco friendly packaging I could find for posting some of my products. I do reinforce them with some paper packaging tape just to make sure they are well packaged (although they do close pretty securely) - but just helps to stop things moving about too much inside. Not the cheapest, but they are good quality and so far the only option I have found that works for my needs.
