Organic Crocheted Fox Ring Rattle

Cute crochet fox rattle but there's nothing organic about it and it has no certificates to back up it's claims. From the title I assumed organic meant it was made from cotton because bamboo viscose is a rayon. My mistake for not reading the description and going off by the title, took away stars for the misleading title. Additionally, the bamboo viscose is super stiff and very hard it's not soft at all. The crochet style is knitted way too big so the polyester filling pops out of the holes, not good for your baby which will chew on the toy and ingest polyester, a synthetic material. The tag can easily be removed by cutting the stitches off it won't loosen the crochet, always cut off tags on baby toys. Wash it in hot water and soap, bamboo viscose undergoes a chemical treatment to form the pulp substance to make the cellulose fiber so any residue will hopefully wash off, I did mine in extra hot water from faucet and it did not damage the product.This item is overpriced for what you get, in comparison at Pottery Barn Kids the rattle toy made of knitted organic cotton also with polyester filling but super soft and cuddly is priced at $15 and has the fair trade certificate along with the organic cotton certificate to back up it's claim. This item does not.

My son was almost 4 months old when I gave this to him. He really loves. It was larger than I expected. That was a plus for me, because I think he will enjoy it longer. A bit of a chunky ring which may make it difficult for the smallest hands to really grip, but I would still recommend it. It makes a really great rattle sound. My son is now 9 months and still loves it. He chews on it all the time and it has held its shape. When he hears the rattle shake it always delights him.

Cute but a little chunky for a 3 month old who is just starting to grab things. He's 5 months now and still shows little interest in it.

The ears were bent forward from packing and have not yet been able to stand up. It’s a little cheaper quality than I expected, but we still really like it. Mixed review but would still recommend for the cost. :)
