Q: This item is longer than the door frame where I need it to fit. Is it bendy enough to fold into a narrower door frame and still seal?

No the item does not bend that much. It is rather stiff. It also does not bend to a door frame that is the same size either. I have to keep pushing it back against the door frame.

Q: What is inside of it in case my puppy chews on it?

I have no idea what is inside. I do know my granddaughters dog always wants to play with it but I don't let him. I would think the seller would have this info. I would think normal stuffing as they put in most stuffed animals.

The body is about 32 inches with the legs about 3 inches each. The legs will block some but not as good as the body. The body weight is good for the task.
