I absolutely LOVE this!!! Definitely worth the price. I never tried the metal ones, I was too skeptical and for the price it was worth purchasing this one. It's not industrial like the ones you see at yarn stores but it is perfect for home use. I've wound up over 40 balls of yarn now and have had ZERO problems. I would 100% recommend this product.Make sure you pair it with a yarn ball winder.
