Adobe Illustrator CS6 Digital Classroom 1st Edition

I purchased this Illustrator CS6 training book based on other favorable comments and I do not regret my decision at all. This book is excellent and the training videos are very easy to follow and very informative and useful. While the training videos are also available online, I recommend copying the videos to your computer for uninterrupted and easier viewing; I have experienced some "video not available" and delayed downloading while trying to watch the videos online. While I do have extensive experience with Illustrator CS6, I still found this book very informative, useful, and will be a great reference book for current and future use.

I could make everything larger using my kindle and my computer. I found this book to be very useful and would recommend it to other people.

It is so easy to understand. The DVD lesson are awesome and coming soon I will started my own business using this kind of technology.

Do Not Buy Adobe Illustrator CS6 Digital Classroom (USED) no DVD included. This is the second time I have ordered this and the manual did not have the DVD in the book Sleeve for DVD Empty!!!

I've been teaching myself Illustrator with this book and it is great. The lessons are well organized with a lot of exercises. I'm really enjoying it.

I'm a novice Illustrator user, creating spot graphics once or twice a week for some circulars I work on. I bought this book to become better acquainted with the program. I like the layout of the book, it's fairly easy to follow and I like having the self study and review Q&A at the end of each chapter.While I did learn about some great tools I never used before (Shape Builder & Image Trace) I have to say it's not a complete training package as it does not appear to cover or even mention the Width Tool (or the 7 submenu tools), the Perspective Grid, the Column Tools (Charts & Graphs) or the Slice, Measure or Artboard tools. I would expect a book with a cover stating "a complete training program" to have ALL features of an application examined to some extent. I guess I will have to complete my learning by finding & watching tutorials on-line. Not the end of the world, but I learn better with hard copy material in front of me rather than videos, and again the book proclaims to be a complete training program.

I had to buy this book for class since I'm majoring in Graphic Design. I rented it a semester ago but didn't think I needed it again. Boy, was I wrong. The CD that comes with it is very helpful. If you're a visual learner, this book is for you. The shipping was great. It took about a couple of days & it was in good condition.
