This Hemp – Organic Cotton Fleece is specifically designed for the diaper inserts and soakers. It is soft, easy to work with and provides a soft next to skin surface. Ideal for using where the skin contact fabric is preferred to be 100% natural and to avoid synthetics. Hemp grows without the need of harmful herbicides, pesticides due to the inherent properties contained in the plant itself. Hemp is generally grown in areas of low water availability. Hemp is anti-microbial, anti-mildew, FR (meets Cal 117) and naturally UV. Due to its anti-microbial property, it resists and inhibits odors. Inserts made from this hemp-organic cotton are a perfect accessory for overnight cloth diapering as its slow and stable absorption resists compression leaks. Eco Hemp – Organic Cotton fleece Interlock meet CPSIA standards, they contain no lead, phlalates or BPAs.

Great for pads and diaper doublers
I used these as the top for some cloth pads. The absorbent core of the pads is Zorb II diamonds. Extremely satisfied. Pro tip- if you end up making too many pads (I made a dozen maternity pads and that was way overkill) you can use them as excellent nighttime doublers. They have eliminated the bed wetting issue now that our 3 month old started sleeping for longer stretches through the night. They wash up well and air dry fairly fast- about 1 day in the sunshine and they are ready to go. I love the softness of this fabric. I chose to use the smooth side on the outer part and the terry cloth side on the inner, but it depends on what texture you like. I wouldn't recommend this for wipes as it's too thick.

Absorbent but stretchy
I've been sewing cloth menstrual pads with this for some time now and I love it. It's got some stretch to it which can be slightly difficult to sew with. I prefer using this fabric with another on top so that my foot doesn't directly touch the fleece. I find that even if you're using pins to hold the fleece down, you'll still experience some buckling. I recommend getting a walking foot if you plan on sewing straight onto this fabric. Absorbency wise for cloth pads, I pair this fabric with some ZORB ll dimples for heavy pads. (You won't understand this unless you're in the cloth pad universe)

I bought this to make flats for night time cloth ...
I bought this to make flats for night time cloth diapering. Because it was fleece I just cut it into large squares and trifold it into the diaper at night. No sewing required and no more leaks. Much cheaper than buying premade inserts or prefolds.

Great fabric!
I was very happy with the thickness and softness of this product. I actually made it into sleep sacks for my daughter. They are very warm and cozy, the material is soft! When it arrived it did not have any unpleasant aromas or "farm" smell that you sometimes get with organic fabric products. Very happy!

Soft and Cuddly
I love the feel of this warm fleece fabric. It should be quite comfortable when worn next to the skin.
