great markers
These markers are great. Granted, if you are purchasing them to use in a classroom setting, I wouldn't recommend them. The colors and fun and bright but since the tip isn't that big the lines it makes for writing wouldn't be able to be seen from long distances, like you need in a classroom. I bought these markers to use for a small whiteboard for my college dorm. They're perfect for illustrating fun cartoons on the doors (right now I have Zazu from 'The Lion King') and all the people in my hall love them. They don't smell and with the double-sided markers you get twice the amount of fun colors to use! I recommend these markers! Also, when I first purchased them through Amazon.com, one of the markers was completely dried out, which was a bit disappointing. I contacted the manufacturer of the markers and they were extremely nice and courteous! They sent me a new package of markers within the next few days!!

Great whiteboard markers
I bought these whiteboard markers because of:1) the variety in colors2) the inexpensive price3) the generally high reviews given by other Amazon purchasersI've been using them heavily for about a week & haven't been disappointed at all. The colors are terrific; the tips write cleanly, easily, and finely; and the marks erase easily without leaving "ghosts" behind. The caps are a little difficult to remove, as noted by other reviewers, but I wouldn't consider that a barrier to purchasing unless you need or prefer an easily-opened whiteboard marker.

These are fine point dry erase markers
The product description for these dry erase markers mentions a "bold" tip, and that they make "distinct" lines. I thought this meant they would create a similar line to a bullet or chisel tipped dry erase markers. These tips are tapered to FINE POINTS, making about a 3/64" line, unless you lay the marker over on it's side where you can use the wider tapered surface.I've uploaded a picture of the tip of one of these markers so you can see if it's what you're looking for. I like the variety of colors, but it's helpful to know that in general, dry erase colors other than black, blue, and red, often leave a greasy residue that is not easy to erase.

Exactly what I was looking for!
These markers look a little thick, the tip of them though writes very fine. I use a white board at home and make a list of my "monthly to do's." It keeps the house on track with all the major things that need to get knocked out that month. Having multiple colors makes it easy to keep track of. I admit that there are 2 teal-esque colors that are very similar, as well as 2 pink like colors that are very similar. If you're hoping to have 16 very distinct and different colors for a reason, that will not be the case as of the similarities. My brown marker came damaged. The opposite side was fine, however it appeared that the machine that capped them put the brown marker cap on backwards. I did not notice the issue until the first time I went to use them. The cap had been broken, the tip of the brown marker was flattened, and dried out. I contacted customer service rather than filing an exchange due to how light weight the item is, I wasn't sure if it would be worth it for them to eat the cost of the return item as well as replace it. They told me to keep the markers, and they were sending out a full replacement set, even though only 1 marker was damaged! So, the customer service I received on the product was great and they certainly went above and beyond to make sure I got what I paid for!

Waste of money
These markers are a waste of money. We moved into new offices last year and purchased 4 sets of these. We opened two sets and put 2 sets in the cabinet. The caps on these markers are VERY difficult to remove, but they're useless. The markers dry out with very little use and the caps left on. We went through the first two sets, and pulled out one of the ones that was still packaged in our supply cabinet and it was all dried out too. I would NOT buy these products again.

Very bright!
I was a little worried purchasing these b/c several previous reviewers had remarked that there was little color or they were dried out. These markers are fantastic. The tips are shaped like the old school crayola marks-a-lot markers (a wide triangular point that comes to a sharp tip), so you can write fine-point or on the edge of the tip for various widths. The colors are beautiful and very bright. All of mine are very wet and work perfectly. No complaints at all here. I've had a lot of fun decorating my monthly whiteboard calendar with them already!

Great for the Price
These pens were exactly what I needed. I color coordinate team plans daily at work and I wanted something affordable that would still produce. These came with more colors I can even use sometimes and it is really nice that the markers are double sided so they fit in a smaller pouch instead of taking double the space if they made every color an individual marker. I was pleased with each color's saturation (even the yellow) but I will say that there are two sets of colors that look very similar. There are two blues and one the oranges and the brown that are nearly indistinguishable. Does this keep me from loving the set? No since there are SO MANY colors to choose from. I am not at a point where I can comment on long-lasting durability since I have only used them for a couple of months but none of them are drying out, they are not fraying and they all still write with the fine point I was looking for (or thinker if I turn the marker sideways). Great purchase - I feel like I got my money's worth even if they died this week.*Addition later same day: I was reading reviews I see there are many teachers shopping for products like this. The tips of these pens are very fine and I would not recommend them for a large classroom setting. I use them on a small product planner (15" x 10") for a team of 10 to view at a close setting. They are also great for a dry-erase calendar.

but I am still pleased with these dry erase markers
One colour was unfortunately dried out when I got it, but I am still pleased with these dry erase markers. They have the feel of regular big Crayola markers, which almost everyone grew up with, so they are really easy to work with. They do not smell. They are easy for my young son to write notes on our dry erase boards when he needs to.

Dried out
Half of them don't work or are almost dead. My son was super disappointed. At least we can use a few...?
