Not for me
Probably works on a window or perfectly flat surface, but I didn't care to test with other surfaces after it didn't work at all with my dashes.

Works some times - not consistent enough
It can pop off, and I worry about it damaging my phone. It's cool when it sticks. You can't have a phone case that has texture. Perhaps I haven't found the ideal spot, as my car doesn't have a clear place with enough room for it to go, except the windshield.

Needs an *absolutely* flat and smooth surface :(
It won't hold even it's own weight when I try to mount it in my car. The problem is that it needs an absolutely flat and smooth surface, and most car surfaces (dashboard, etc) have some sort of texturing. It will stick to something like your window, but then it's too far away to be useful. And many phone cases aren't absolutely flat either, so you might have to take the phone out to use this.

I haven't found the best place for it in the car
I haven't found the best place for it in the car. Like the other reviewers, it doesn't attach to my dash. I stuck to my window so that will be good. A distracted driver is not a safe driver, so having it away from my reach might be good in the end. :-)

It stays in place but if you're expecting to use ...
It stays in place but if you're expecting to use this as a mount so you can use your phone as a GPS, you'll get a headache from how much it shakes around.

The Futre is NOT Here
Read the reviews and thought to myself well its only the price of a cup of coffee. WOW did I get a better deal a the Coffee Shop.It is light weight and does what is supposed to do, for about 30 min. Had my sons 4in MP4 player in the car window. Even used a little good old spit and within 30 min down the road I hear from the back set, "thump". Pulling over to get the player back up to keep my 2yo happy. 20min down the road again,"thump".Now I chalked this up to road vibrations and the window heat. While at home I had the same player sitting up on the shelf to charge and be able to bee seen while my son ate lunch. WORST thing eve could have happened. I hear my son say, "Cars go", which is him telling my the show is over. I look over and the player has hit the floor. When it fell it hit right on the charging port and snapped the inside circuit connector. So Im out the price, S&H and now $40 worth of a player.I can say the this is a cool device worth having around if you dont care about what it is holding up. Using it to hold ANY device you payed good money for just is a bad idea. Get something that "HOLDS" your toy not "Sucks" to it.

Works pretty darn well if you have the right phone
The Simple Sucker works very well, provided you have the right phone. Some phones that are textured on the back or have too big of a curve can't be suctioned properly, but if you give it a good press it'll hold well at pretty much any angle. It even holds up my 7" Nexus 7 in a pinch.

It's just fine
Does not work well with large size screen phones or Phablets, but still a good if you have the right size.

Not fit for purpose
I bought this to attach my iphone 4s to the windscreen of my car. The first one I received was faulty (the stem was broken and didn't bend properly). This was promptly and very satisfactorily replaced (by first class post, even though i ordered the original by normal mail) by Amazon. Unfortunately, the second - despite being in "full-working order" is almost completely useless. Even without the iphone attached (i.e. with no weight) the sucker fails to stay attached to the windscreen. I have tried this around ten times and never has it managed to remain attached for more than 20 minutes whilst I've been driving around. If it cannot support its own weight then there is no way I'm risking my phone in it. If I still had the packaging I would send it back.Sucker, not fit for purpose, damaged in the first instance, and the worst product I've ever bought from Amazon in the ten years I've shopped here. Very disappointing. And now I feel a bit like a Simple Sucker for having bought it.

Discreto

Rispetto a tante altre ventose direi buono!
