No significant problems
I needed to replace the old trap on my basement floor drain with one that had a cleanout; our washing machine drains here and the line had gotten plugged up over the years so the drain would overflow while the washing machine was draining. If there is a cleanout for this line, it is no longer accessable. I wanted a unit where the cleanout was hidden in the drain basin as this is in the middle of my concrete floor and this is the only one I could find like this. I jackhammered the old steel trap out, augered out and managed to clear the 4" line with a hand auger I picked up at the harware store, fed a garden hose down as far as I could and blasted the line with clean water for a while as well. I cut a hole in the side of the drain basin to feed my washing machine pipe and sealed with silicone, packed gravel around the base and poured a couple of bags of ready-mix to repair. My only mistake was ordering the pvc unit as opposed to an abs one. ABS parts (pipes, etc) are more available in a hardware store than pvc ones and I had to use transition cement to hold things together. My only complaint is that this unit is composed to two molded halves glued together and the 2" female connection was very tight and split when I was dry fitting my short section of 2" pipe that connected to the 4" sewer line. After applying the adhesives, I had to seal the gaps in the unit where it had split at this connection. But it ended up working well in the end and after the fact, everything works great. If/when that line clogs up again, it will be easy to clean out. (Note that I am a home owner, not a plumber)

Terrible product
The product is glued down the center making it very easy to split when running a drain cable down. (It will break) I'm a licensed Plumber in the State of Iowa

what I needed
Used this to correct a situation with drainage from the water softener and the hi efficiency furnace. Exactly what was needed.

Bulky, but functional.
Not shown in the photos is a 1/2 inch threaded boss on the side just above the trap water level. You can drill out the boss andattach a side inlet pipe. In my case I'll be using that 1/2 inch side inlet for a condensate drain. The unit is a bit bulky - check theoutside dimensions.

Good quality and 15 dollars cheaper than my supply house
Seems to be durable schedule 40. Like that it's presloped. Like how it's secured in the back just sledge rebar against groove and zip tie threw hole. Right sized openings in grate for my basement sump system application allowing sand but not gravel.
