Philmore Two (2) 3.5mm 1/8" Mini Stereo Female Panel Mount Jack Headphone Jack

I chose this product because of the simple TRS 'Stereo Audio' configuration and the attractive knurled chrome fastener for which I have the tool. It replaces the broken 4-pole trrs 'Headset' jack on my PC which is unnecessary for my needs and difficult to find to fit my custom PC enclosure. ****

Did the mdr v6 cordless mod. Small enough to fit and works beautifully

I highly recommend these since I used it on modifying my Sony MDR V6 headphones to include a removable 3.5mm cable and it came out great. They are good quality made in Japan and hold a strong connection when soldered properly.

Doesn't have an internal shorting connection, so unless the input connected to these is otherwise tied to ground when there is no input, you're going to pick up hum and noise. Probably going to have to swap these out for something that has a grounded connection, difficult to find a stereo 1/8" non PC mount jack though.

Junk, I received two of these panel mount headphone jacks and both were defective with bad grounds. The jack itself is so loose that a 3.5mm male connector barely stays in place. Just moving causes the jacks to cut out because of the loose fit. What good is a headphone jack if you have to sit still while using your headphones? Complete waste of money,
