Works alright
Works fine for awhile but after some time it becomes a bit dull and you have to find the right angle to cut. I still use it as it cuts tapes just fine but cutting mail and cardboard boxes is a bit difficult at times. Besides that its great to use.

They get dull quickly
I bought these for work and they are very easy to use and great at first but they do get dull a bit quickly.

An Amazon shoppers necessity
This year I’ve decided to give my favorite everyday things as practical gifts. We got one of these as a promotional item. As a compulsive Amazon shopper, I use it almost daily! So one day when we were discussing how useful this thing has been I went on Amazon to order several. I thought the were a little pricy, but as a gift it was worth it. So I ordered eight. Come to find out, they come as a package of six. So I got 48 of them! I considered returning a few of them. But NO. They are so cheap I put one everywhere we may open a package & am giving them out in multiples to everyone!

Product is a safe alternative for a box cutter
Use it for opening letters this device needs to be used slowly...too fast and you’re cutting actual mail inside of envelope. Done it!!

Necessary and safe item to flatten boxes for recycling
Good item, and much safer to use than scissors. Very useful for flattening boxes to make more room in the recycling bin. The box came with ten items, so I gave the extras to my neighbors so they can also make more room in their recycling bins. Because the more we can recycle, the better our world will be.

They really are safe!
I bought these so that my 4th graders could make props for our play using cardboard boxes. I needed them to have some independence as I cannot possibly do all the cutting, plus I don't feel comfortable having a regular box cutter anywhere near my students even if I am the one cutting. They work pretty well for our purposes and I can trust that they will NOT harm my students. I recommend these for 3rd grade and up. I believe students younger than that may be able to get their tiny fingers near the blade part, although I am not certain, but just to be on tbe safe side stick with 3rd grade and onward.

Wish I had invented it!
OMG are you kidding me! Where has this thing been all my life! As many boxes I have to break down because I have a problem (thanks Amazon) This is sooo useful!

Recommend
Purchased these to use in my classroom because I do a lot of cardboard making stuff with my wee ones. These are safe for them to use independently and they cut through quite easily. Saves me having to do all the cutting for them. We've had many accidents with children's scissors, these give me much more peace of mind!
