It is so soothing and nice to watch the sand fall into whatever mystery pattern it may fall in. It is great for the imagination, finding images that develop. I can't seem to take my eyes off of it. I amplified it's beauty by placing it next to a table lamp, in order to accentuate the beautiful sparkles. I bought the metal stand because I felt that it would last longer than wood. It certainly is a sturdy piece. The metal is a little heavy so if you go that route make sure that you hold the side of the stand while you flip the image, otherwise you may knock it down inadvertently. My only gripe is that the glass seems to scratch easily. Even though I have been extremely careful with it, I have found a few small ones in less than two weeks. Fortunately, the scratches are not very noticeable while watching the sand fall, and that means a lot coming form someone who is OCD like I am, lol. It really is a great tool for anxiety or stress. I want the other colors as well!

I have had sand art that required periodic air adjustment. A lovely product, however this style eliminates having to do that step. Major plus. Looked forward to getting it and have not been disappointed. The relaxation and lovely scenes are endless. Great buy.

I love this piece of moving art. When I received it, I noticed there's a section where the sand has been stuck. After a few rotations, it's still stuck. :( That's my biggest complaint.

I absolutely love my Arctic Glacier Exotic Sands piece. it was placed on a rack near a door way, where I can rotate it every time I walk by. I enjoy coming back to see what design was created this time. I also find it quite calming to watch.

I have this in my office at work and flip it every time i walk by it. Very soothing to watch while on the phone. It reminds me of nights at the beach!

Visually the product is very good, BUT, the functionality is not good at all. The water to sand ratio is off and therefore there is not enough space for the sand to fall without blocking the flow. I have tried many times (even try to perfectly distribute the bubbles) without any success.Also, I tried to remove air from the frame to make it flow better, but there is no clear location to do it from. That is another major issue...Over time, the water will evaporate, if there is no clear place to add/remove air, then this product will be useless in a few months time. If someone knows a good solution to this problem, please let me know, I would hate to waste 130dlls for a product that will be useless in few months.

These are AWESOME!! I did have an issue with it being cracked but no hassle return and exchange and it I love seeing the designs. Great conversational piece and just really cool, solid

I purchased this as a gift for someone. I already own one of these in a wooden frame. I love mine so much I thought I would get one to gift in the metal frame. Not the same! Three reasons why: the metal has sharp edges, the colors used are so dark it takes away from the design, and the air bubbles are so large that designs made are basically flat. Very unhappy with this type and disappointed. With what these cost they should be beautiful and working without any sharp edges right out of the box. Would not recommend the metal frames.

At a loss for a gift, and my girl admires the vintage one at the dental office all the time. I originally ordered a 'cheap' version, and while it was pretty, I knew from experience how much better they should be. This one doesn't disappoint. And the metal frame is super nice.
