Used this book for a leadership course. It’s easy to read and manageable for class.

Again, Marzano, et al. has taken the research available to breakdown the ins and outs of administration into an easy to use book that reads a lot like a handbook. This book focuses on the skills that have a direct impact on student learning and describing the different types of managing styles.

Love the great price of a needed textbook.

This is the kind of book that principals, assistant principals, department chairs, and anyone else interested in being a school leader should read. While I found some of the research jargon to be a bit technical and dry, the fact is Marzano & Co lay out very specific actionable steps that can be taken, most of which don't require huge investments in time or money.

Exactly what I needed for my administration degree!

I like this book, but it doesnt go deep. Mostly brief descriptions of the 21 leadership responsibilities.

This is an excellent resource for anyone who works in education. Marzano offers clear and simple principles based on years of research that all teachers and aspiring administrators would due well to follow.
