Cuisinart DCC-1150BKFR 10 Cup Thermal Coffee Maker, Black (Renewed)

If I listened to the reviews I probably would not have purchased this. I had this same exact coffee maker for 10 years and never gave it a second thought when I wanted a new one. There have been 2 wonderful upgrades--a larger spout for faster delivery and a brighter measure of water. If you like to douse your coffee with creamer and need it to be so hot so the creamer does not cool it, this is not the maker for you. I love my coffee black and this brings it to the right temperature so it does not have that burnt taste like most others. It allows you to taste the coffee. AND, it keeps it that way for hours. It shuts off automatically so you do not need to ever think about that. My husband and I share a whole pot every day. This is a quality product and IMO customers who think otherwise do not understand what it takes to make quality coffee. I really hope this product is around in 10 years when I will need another one.

The Cuisanart Coffee MakerIs one solid staple for any coffee made in the kitchen. Basic, makes great coffee. The stainless crafee protects the coffee from aging to quickly, so later in the day I can have a cup and its still fresh. Love this maker. Excellent value for the cost. Enjoy.

I was replacing my old same brand coffee maker and purchased this one, but this coffee maker shuts off the minute it brews and steel coffee pot maintains heat for no more than 30 minutes a big disappointment; I should have returned it

This thing is awesome. The base doesn't stay hot for 2 hours "over cooking" the coffee like other makers. This one stays hot until it's down brewing, then the pitcher keeps it hot. Hence, no burnt tasting coffee. I've poured a cup 6 hours after it shut off and the coffee is still hot. The only negative is that I wish it was a 12 cup, other than that, LOVE IT!!!

I like that this has a thermal carafe and that my coffee stays hot for a long time. I don't like that it is hard to pour all of the coffee out of the thermos and that it is impossible to clean. I also don't like that the tank doesn't come off to fill so you have to use a jug or cup to fill your water.I'm already looking to replace this machine.

It makes good coffee. Once it brews, the machine turns off. That could be a good thing. That can be a bad thing. The pot is thermal so the coffee remains warm, but -- as with all drip makers, the coffee is not actually really hot and there is no heater at the base on which the pot sits. I microwave mine after pouring each cup. I actually like the coffee maker because I like iced coffee and do not mind warm-not-hot coffee. Some of my guests do not like the temperature (and as I said, I microwave for them.) As long as HOT coffee is not your "cup of tea", you will be not be disappointed.

I was skeptical about this refurbished coffee maker. And I feel many people are skeptical about used items in general. But there is a difference between "used" which means buying "as is and shown" and "refurbished" on Amazon especially if it is a "Prime" item. As I have learned from my experience and I feel the reason for Amazon.com's smashing success on the American Market, "Prime" is a different level of accountability. This refurbished coffee maker is better than new. My experience with technicians who loved their work and rebuilt items is that they were always taking advantage of the tendency of companies to upgrade their products with new and improved parts. That is what I feel about this refurbished coffee maker sold on prime. It is a lower price, it is the improved model though not promised that way, and sure easy to manage and keep clean with all the available options that come with it. Good show Amazon. Thank you. I purchased this make and model about 8 years ago and loved it. It began to show its age, so I looked on Amazon and found a “renewed” one. I can’t believe it was less than new. It didn’t have a scratch or sign of wear on it, and it works perfectly.

After such a short time this is not the quality I expect to obtain by buying Quisinart products. this machine is only months old

Llego, muy rapido el prodcutos, en su empaque original; lo he utilizado y sin queja alguno todo excelente, si bien especifican que es remanufacturado, esta como si fuera nuevo, todo excelente Gran valor por el precio. Gracias excelente y recomendable!

Yo compre este cafetera para mi oficina. Funciona muy bien! Me encanta que su maceta no esté hecha de vidrio, hace que el producto sea más duradero.

Creo que funciona muy bien. Hace el café muy rápido, pero creo que por la rapidez tienes que utilizar más café para que salga tal cual como estás acostumbrado para una cafetera de la misma capacidad. Rápida, bonita, fácil de usar pero utiliza un poco más café de lo que una de su tipo utilizaría (un 15 a 25% más aprox)

En el video dicen que trae el filtro permanente, el filtro para el agua y hasta una cucharita para medir y servir el café. CUIDADO, NO TRAE NADA DE ESO. Entonces te llega la cafetera sin nada. Ahora tengo que ver dónde comprar todo eso y esperar a que me llegue para poder estrenar la cafetera.
