Decent function but a tad expensive
Creases easily so be careful not to fold when applying. Easy enough to install but need two people. Would be better if they came with tools to install - had to buy squeegee & box cutter to apply it. Doesn't allow as much light through as it claims & rooms are a bit dark after application but work well in terms of privacy as long as it is still bright outside. Once it is dark, you will need to close the curtains to prevent outside seeing in. Better than films that don't use liquid to apply - easier to get all air bubbles out. Seems to have made a slight improvement to insulation for single-glazed windows. Applied to inside of glass as only single-glazed but from research, not designed to be used on inside of double-glazed windows as it can cause build-up of heat between glass layers & break seals. So either use on outside of double-glazed or inside at your own risk.Expensive for what it is - a sheet of plastic with glue - but if people need it we have no choice but to pay.

Good
Very difficult if you have to cover a bigger window and I need to re-do the middle part as this is a two-man job. The more soapy water the better I have figured as well and you really need an eye for detail when cutting the foil to size. Great coverage from the outside, I find it doesn’t darken the inside too much either during the day which is good. Practice makes perfect and I know what I need to do to when I do the middle part again. Fit for purpose and would buy again.

It does the job
It does the job But I did find that the Sellotape that was holding it together in the role it’s difficult to get off ,was unable to get off without damaging the top of the foil.

Easy to use
Very easy to install if you are patient and dexterous. You need a very sharp knife and sharp scissors too.The scissors are for cutting it roughly to fit ie slightly larger than the shape you want it to fit.Once you have it right, put two pieces of sellotape (the provided pieces are not necessarily strong enough) on a corner with the ends of the sellotape folded so the 2 pieces don't stick together.Use the sharp knife to cut the sheet to fit. Remember that you can't possibly cut the glass but be careful of the rubber window trim.Other than this the instructions are very good.

Easy to put up
Don’t use soapy water just use plain water to put it on as soap bubbles don’t tend to disappear all in all really good

I don’t know how anyone puts this on for a good result?
I did all I could, followed instructions applied in a hoovered and dusted empty room, cleaned and tack clothed over the glass used plenty of soap and water and bought a rubber squigie still 100s of bubbles left for a week and they are if anything worse :( total waste of money and I can actually see into cupboard threw it which I took wouldn’t happen :(

Good, with some caveats
I used this product to apply to window panels approximately 30 x 50 cm in size. The film is easy to cut to size, however after this separating the backing sheet from the mirror film itself is extremely difficult. Postitioning is hard - much more of a rigmarole than the non-adhesive film I have used before - this will NOT slide into position, it sticks where it touches, and although it can be peeled back and re-positioned, it takes several attempts to achieve a good result. Also it did not help in my case that the roll of film had been squashed in transit which left several not-quite creases, but determined folds in the material which I could not smooth away. These caused bubbles in the final placement (which despite notes in the instructions that small bubbles will disappear over the first few days this is absolutely not the case); bubbles that remain stubbornly in place and despite all my prolonged efforts they cannot be persuaded to the edge of the film and away.Overall, it works well, but it is fiendishly difficult to apply even on small window panels. I have a glazed door which I should like to treat the same way, but honestly I'm not sure that I could achieve a satisfactory result over such a large panel when even small windows caused me such issues.

Tips and tricks - read before buying
I purchased this for the glare and heat reducing qualities and not for the privacy so much as I'm high up but South facing. It has reduced the glare i can see my monitor now without ramping up the brightness! HOWEVER it is extremely difficult to get a good result, I had 3 goes with the role I bought, and my 3rd (and best) attempt is still a mess it looks wrinkled and bubbled)Here's what I'd do differently having known.Get someone to help, maybe even 2 people - one holding the top corners in line one holding the bottom, and you Starting from the middle and working outwards SLOWLY and EVENLYCut it almost perfectly to size before starting - don't hang it and score it as it pulls away at the edges causing wrinklesEnsure the window has been cleaned with IPA first otherwise, you'll forever see trapped dust and smears - DO NOT skip this stepI got a better result not using soapy water BUT it needs to be perfectly lined up - any bit that is off-center will wrinkle upThe glue side means that this HAS to go on the inside of double glazing if you put this on the outside the mirror effect is indeed REVERSED. I've yet to see if this will damage the window hopefully not!All in all probably not worth it get a blind instead - Best of luck though
