Rust-Oleum7592838-2PK Professional High Performance Enamel Spray Paint, 15 Oz, Gloss White, 2 Pack

Used on some outdoor cast aluminum furniture and the finish makes the pieces look brand new. Just applied so cannot speak to durability. Attached before and after pics.

This paint is far superior to anything I've ever used! I always try to get Rust-Oleum brand if possible. I do some woodwork, refinishing of furniture, and other various craft projects. This paint has a thickness to it that no other spray paint I've used before had. I needed to refinish my iron deck furniture(some of it 16yrs old and never repainted till now). This was perfect! If I oversprayed and it bubbles I could actually run my finger gently over the small bubbles and they would disappear and the paint would still look good!!!! I painted a large table, small table, two side tables and 10 chairs. It took just under 8 cans, but I'm sure you could get by with less. Four of the chairs are HEAVY duty rocking chairI so it took more than a normal chair would have. I also applied several coats to ensure I wouldn't have to do it again for another 17 years! Dries so fast bugs would almost always land within a minute or two and then fly away! This is not how it usually works with spray paint, you get a darn bug and have to redo the spot. I will say that as I sprayed the tops I noticed some slight variations in the spray color, some darker black in spots than others. That being said I didn't read the directions, just sprayed. I'm sure in time it will even out and not noticeable enough to bother me at all. I have included lots of photos. I very highly recommend for iron outdoor furniture.*the dark glossy spots near the edge are coconut oil because I was tanning and giving myself a manicure. Hehe.

I used this product to refinish an old aluminum storm door, and it worked well enough with two coats that I wanted to order another can of it for another project. But just one week after I bought it on Amazon for $7 it had jumped up to $22! Sometimes it seems that pricing on Amazon is determined by rolling the dice. Or maybe they use the same algorithms that the airlines use for determining the cost of a seat on a flight around the holidays.

I honestly don’t understand how this paint has such a high review rating, because it’s the worst I’ve ever used. I normally buy Rustoleum, but had never tried the professional. I thought I would give it a try since it was going to be used on my 8’ x 10’ utility trailer. I bought 6 cans of black gloss here on Amazon and applied it as directed. It looked nice and glossy that evening. The next day I went out to take a look, and to my disappointment, almost everything I had painted was now a dull flat black. It wasn’t rained on or applied to hot surfaces, etc. I thought maybe I got satin finish that was mislabeled as gloss, but some of the other reviews mention the same thing. I had to go buy 4 more cans of this stuff locally to add more coats to get something close to the desired appearance. I found it almost impossible to get a consistent finish. You go to touch-up a dull area and after it dries you have a different dull area. I finally got it in an acceptable condition and called it quits. What I should really do is contact Rustoleum and ask them for a refund for the crappy paint. Save yourself some headache and don’t buy the professional brand.

I used this paint in Regal Red to match the paint on a Radio Flyer metal wagon that had a very rusted wagon pan. The finish was not as glossy as the original paint, I'm pretty sure it was due to the sanding of the wagon not being super smooth and the wagon pan being a little pitted from the rust that ate the metal away, I removed all the rust with vinegar/sanding, used metal primer before applying and it looked great! Pictures show the before and after. Would definitely buy/use this brand again!

Repeated super light coats resulted in a mirror finish. Can't imagine anything better. One thing I learned though is to not shake the can after the first use. I think the paint foams in the can with vigorous shaking and results in a terrible finish that has to be completely removed.

Rustoleum makes too many varieties of spray paint. I just wanted a semi gloss white paint to spray where the outside wall of my garage meets the ground. I will use regular oil based paint with a roller to do the rest. I did the bottom with spray so the roller won't touch the dirt. Color match was easy since both paints are semi gloss white. Rustoleum makes this stuff, their Professinal High Performance. Then they make a 2X whatever that means then they make another one but I can['t remember what it is called. So, three different spray paints from Rustoleum? I think they told me that the 2X is for things like wood, plastic and other non metal surfaces. HUH? The name is RUSToleum! Anyway, too many varieties of semi gloss white means too much hype for me. It's a bit expensive and one can doesn't really cover much. I used tons of this stuff in the past to do my garage doors which are metal. My cellar door in the back of my house which is metal. It's good. But not great. When doing metal surfaces, I used their Rust Reformer as a primer first. and then covered that with this paint. It needed to be done 4 years later. That's good, but not great for an OIL based paint with a PRIMER. So, it's good,. but no different than any other oil based spray paint. I'll go only for the best price next time

I sprayed so many things with it and finished the bottle within the first day. Loved using it.I love that it sprays in any position, which allows me to get to some harder to reach spots.One note, is to make sure you don't touch it until it's totally dry, otherwise it's really easy to scrape or scratch the paint off. Once it's dry, it seems to adhere really strongly and doesn't come off easily. But I'll update once I use the items more.
