VenUS Laowa Full Frame Camera Prime Lens 60Mm F/2.8 2X Ultra-Macro Nikon F, Black

I wasn't sure whether to buy this lens or not as it doesn't have VR and my camera doesn't have IBIS, however I found out that if you use a flash then you don't need VR anyway, and you will definately need to use a flash with this lens. The subject whilst looking through your camera's viewfinder is very dark indeed and you have to guess if you are in focus. Using live view though, the subject is much brighter, so a tilting camera screen I feel is necessary when using a lens like this. I love this lens, it is sharp, the build quality is good. The lens comes with a 62mm front screw filter so you will be able to use the Nikon R1C1 flash system ok. There is no camera connection so you will only be able to use your camera in manual mode. Glad I bought this lens.

I watched dozens of lens reviews and landed on purchasing this lens for my old Nikon D3200.About it wokring on Nikon Cameras:You must shoot in Manual mode with this camera. This is a manual focus and manual aperture lens. If you're in auto mode, or any other mode on your camera, your camera will not detect the lens and I feel that's what has happened to a lot of people who purchased this lens and says it doesn't work.Comes with:UV Lens attached - I leave this on all the time.A nice draw string caseLens cap, for both sides, for storageConsIt's very heavy. You're getting a work out when you're shooting photos, especially if you're holding a plant with one hand and moving the camera to focus with another hand. It's heavy and your arm gets tired.No aperture coupling. This means if you stop down to f11, you're looking through your viewfinder and everything is pretty dark. It's hard to focus when you can't see, but it's only been an issue a few times. The Laowa 100mm does have aperture coupling, if you're interested in that.ProsIt works just like it says it will. I just started in macro photography and was able to capture beautiful shots my first day out.The 2x magnification is something I wasn't looking for in a lens, but now that I have it, I won't be buying any other lens because it's just amazing.The images are super sharp, it feels well made, and I love the photos I've taken so far. I can't recommend this lens enough.

I chose the 60mm F/2.8 lens for Nikon F Mount which when I received, DID NOT FIT my Nikon D7200! Nikon F Mount are for Nikon DSLR's, What gives? However in searching Amazon, I found another ad that showed another same lens for Nikon F Mount specifying a model D7200, which is what I have, so maybe this is what I need, however the ad needs to be clearer in identifying, meaning ONE OF THE LENS IS NOT A NIKON F MOUNT! I am sure this creating a problem with potential customers and Adorama so Amazon need to straighten it out with Adorama. I have returned the NON FITTING LENS BACK TO ADORAMA FOR REPLACEMENT.

This product worked great for like 1 minute. Then my camera kept saying the lens was detached. I’m guessing because it’s not official Nikon lens. And in case you’re wondering, I was gentle with the lense and was extremely cautious with it and I know nothing broke. Soo I’ll just save up for the Nikon version.
