Q: Will this stay on the door if you open it? I'm very short with bad shoulders - looking for one I can leave on a door that I use sometimes. Thanks

Yes, there us a over the door hook...I am short also...the therapist uses this also for his patients and the idea of course is to stretch the arm over the head and also use it for forward movements. The company also gives instructions. My broken arm, the part that connects to the shoulder, has almost 100% movement. I am well over 65 years and want whatever use for my remaining years! Worth the few extra dollars but use it daily! Good luck!

Q: Does the standard version have the door hook?

I believe the door hook only comes on the deluxe version.

Q: Is the foam grip on both handles? In the picture it appears to only be on one.

Both grips are foam. One grip has an extra piece Thad the fingers can slip under to help hold on. I used mine a lot with both shoulder surgeries and it still looks new.

Q: Do you need tools to install?

Debra, you need NO tools to install besides your fingers. The metal hook just drops over the topof a convenient door. The pulleys just have a nylon strap that drops over the door hook.The pulley cord is finger adjustable from the hand grips, with an easy to use secure cord retainer. The instructions are pretty clear, and suggest various exercises and set up with the pulleys. Phil
