Jumbo Sticky Buddy - Reusable Washable Clothes Lint Pet Hair Fluff Remover - 8" Roller

This product works as advertised. I have re-ordered twice. However, I have a couple issues that are insurmountable for me. I could not decide which would get more views, a one star or a five star, and i really want people to know some things about this product! IMPORTANT: order the XL, or whatever the bigges size is. It comes in three sizes. The smallest is tiny and goes in your purse or pocket. The next is i think called large? And it is a small handheld unit. The XL or Jumbo is just regular size with handle and is the one you’re thinking of.GOOD: it really does work the way they say. The scraper scrapes up dog hair amazingly, and then the roller will pick up the rest! But the roller works for about six inches square before it is full and useless. It does clean easily and go back to full usefulness (sticky again).THE BAD: the handle is made out of the most fragile material on earth. The first one of these I bought, the handle literally broke the first time I put the head on the carpet. It’s terrible. I was able to install the head on a wood handle from somethings else, and it worked great! Incredible! When i ordered the second unit later, i could get a different handle to thread correctly, so I actually duct taped a handle to the handle of the sticky buddy. It’s not ideal, it feels awkward, but is absolutely necessary as the handle that comes with the unit is actually so fragile it is fascinating.ALSO BAD, BUT NOT NECESSARILY THEIR FAULT: I was amazed at how good this thing picked up golden retriever hare out of our area rug. Maybe this caused me to over use it... but the rubber nubbins on the head unit wore down very quickly. It becomes less effective the more it wears down. And it seemed to do that rather quickly. To be fair, I use it on a fairly large area, fairly often, and as i said, I’ve attached a much sturdier handle that lets me push harder. But they wear down fast enough that I don’t think I’ll be ordering another one.I love the product, but it’s not durable enough for me.The two extra units that get used less rigorously are still pretty great. For light use in general, i highly recommend it!

Not much to say.It worked OK for a few months. The more you use it, the less sticky it becomes - not sure why. A year later however, the sticky part is completely coming off the plastic roller. This is with optimum if not precision care.I bought it more for sand and crumbs vs. pet hair, as my 3 year old goes to school+daycare and comes home with a shoe full and sometimes hair full of sand almost daily. Even when he dusts off at the door, he still tracks sand to the chairs/couch. Figured this could be used in addition to or to supplement our cord-free hand vac but meh...it wasn't worth it. After we decided it wasn't working out for what we got it for, we tried it for just removing lint and it was nowhere close to as good or useful as a lint brush/roller.Plain and simple, I don't recommend it.I wish I could return it.

I like it but it's really too much of a hassle to use. Not too great for getting things done in good time because of the dry time neccessary between uses. Have to rinse too often.

This thing works to remove dog hair and lint, then wash to clean the lint off.

This product works as claimed. It picks up hair and dirt really great. It's super sticky but still rolls well across the floor. The handle is a little flimsy so you need to be careful not to put too much pressure or weight on it. Because its sticky ability is so strong it fills up quickly. Unlike a broom and dustpan, what you pick up stays stuck to the roller. Just rinsing it and continuing on would be nice but having to wash it with warm soapy water every time the roller is full makes the use of this product time consuming. If your willing to put in the time it works great for quick pick ups, hard to reach places or people who have trouble bending over.

Isn't as good as a normal lint roller in terms of stickiness. The design isn't great, the bristle part falls off constantly, water doesn't clean it as fast as it shows, and not the best quality.

Oh the sticky buddy is just SO cool! So perfect for my dogs hair, not that he sheds, but I can only trim him while he's laying down so hair goes all over coach & Sticky Buddy picks up SO much.. Heck of a deal!

(a) It was only very sticky the first time and it was full almost instantly. Thereafter, it was not able to pick up small clumps of cat hair; only individual strands.(b) It broke after 10 minutes of use.I actually was able to throw it away in the very amazon box it came in. Absolute garbage.
